Remarks

Though the College offers good Faculty for Teaching, some of them are worth replaceable. Office & Management should have been better because payment of Fees is a cumbersome process in our College & takes long queues. Online payment would have been appreciable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As the College is a Autonomous College, the Curriculum is prepared by the Management of the College & with respect to examinations, Continuous Internal Assessment is done through regular Tests & Viva alongwith Practical Works. Semester wise exams are held.

Placement Experience

3

Internship is compulsory to be done after the Final Examination of each even semester or that particular year. Internships can be done at any place having legal relationship with the Government, paying Taxes & Registered. No stipend is provided though.

College Events

4

Internal Quality Assessment Cell [IQAC] of the College organizes many events and seminars & workshops and lectures are given by renowned speakers. Other programs include : Ethnic Day Kannada Rajyotsava All National Festivals Law Fest Sports Fest (Both Itra-College & Inter-College) Moot Court Competition Host of Surana & Surana Moot Court Competition. etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Including the Exams fee, total expenditure costs around Rs. 60,000. Annual fee varies on the course. As I am a doing BA.LLB my fee per year is Rs. 53,000. Compared to other Law Colleges in Mysuru ours is quite a bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many of my friends claim some kind of scholarships from the College under different quotas. However, so far I have not collected or claimed any kind of Scholarships from the College. Therefore, I don't have much knowledge about the same.

Campus Life

4

College has many clubs running actively. Some of them are named below: Rotract Club (a subsidiary of Rotary Association working for Social Cause) Green Guides NCC Yuva Young India Organization Moot Club which organizes Annual Moot Court Competitions. etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

Though our College has separate hostel facilities for Boys & Girls, I stay at PG. Monthly rent at my PG is Rs. 5250. As far as College Hostel is concerned, for Boys it is Rs. 60000 per year. Many of our students are also residing in independent rooms than Hostel or PG's.

Alumni/Alumna

Our College has a strong alumni network who are useful in future for carrier related help. Annual Alumni meet is held at the College wherein many of our visit the College and Interact & guide us. Even for our Internships, seniors are helpful in guiding places to do Internship.

Admission

Admission was based on my 12th marks. JSSLC is one of the best Law Colleges in Mysuru and I therefore I decided to join here. Also our College is a Autonomous College and has Grade 'B' from NAAC Authorities.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculty have good experience in the Courts before joining to Lecturing posts. All Law subject teachers are LLM Holders while Pre-Law Teachers have done their MA in their respective subjects. The teaching so far is good.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.

The worst they are very unfair the faculties leak the question papers for money and take money from students under the table for clearing their backlogs nd for year back. Most faculties are worthless they don't kn how to teach or explain they discriminate on the basis of ethnicity.
