Review for my Graduation and post graduation college

Being residential campus, seniors and juniors are stay to gether in common hostels, still ragging is done at some instances, hostel mess and canteen is not good, students have to go out of campus for quality food and breakfast

There are avg. 7 to 8 course in each semester like agrinomy, soil science, entomology, horticulture, remote sensing, statistics and agri botany, agri economics Every semester has theoritucal and practical exam, there 60% weightage to theory and 40% practical exam, Practical are very interesting as professors are teaching on actual field situation on horticulture or agronomy farm, where we learn learning byp seeing and learning by doing.

Actually there is huge demand of agri graduate in market, hence there is no issue of placement, many agri companies including banks also come for placement for recruitment of agri officer, apart from this University give JRF and SRF fellowship where post graduate student earn good income along with studying.

As it is residential colleges like medical college, we are celebrating each and every festival in university campus like Holi, diwali as well as actively participating annual convocation programme, there is national and international level seminar also organised in campus in the field of agriculture, which is also interesting to participate and also important for our carrier.

There are very nominal fees like 7k to 8k for girl student and 12k to boys including hostel charge, because as I said earlier, It is residential college, student must have stay in, campus till he/she is studying.

No loan facility or scholarship by college except what is given by govt. Of Gujarat to sc/st/obc student but they offer you fellowship programme in PG courses where you can earn 12000 to 16000 per month while perusing your PG studies like Msc and PhD

Student male/famale ratio is 8:2, there are separate sport complex including huge cricket group, college use this ground for helicopter landing also, there are many extra curricular activities in A year like inter college, inter University competition were organised, there is no instance of sexual harassment but student level politics and ragging at some level is there

Every student get hostel room being residential college, there 3 student in one room for UG course and 1 student per room for PG student, every room has one cupboard, table, coat and chair per student,24/7 water and electric supply,3 bathroom per lobby and one lobby has 5 rooms,

Yes there is no formal allumani network but we are in contact with our seniors and juniors which is helpful to us for getting jobs and update about the field, sometimes college also invite for allumani get to get her and we also participate as much as possible

You have to apply for common entrance exam after completing your 12th sicence (biology) group, if you are selected then you are call for admission, where you are asked for campus selection I.e. Anand, navsari, junagadh and sardar krishinagar, Gujarat agri University campuses. After selecting your campus, you have to pay the first semester fees and you admission is confirmed. Later on you are ask to join the college probably in the month of July, hostel facilities is provided by universities, where one room allotted to 3 students, hostel fee is included in semester fee, you have to pay meal charges separately, there are total 8 semester course of bsc agri, and one semester is of 6 months.

There very experienced faculty who having extensive knowledge in the field of agri research and teaching and most important they having high vintage professors, we have maximum faculty who is having PhD degree and in the rank of assistant professor to professor, except few, every faculty is good.
