Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of my college is overall good. It pretty much covered all the aspects of management courses. In the first year, we did a full detailed syllabus course, but from the second year, we had to choose a specialization in various subjects. I chose Marketing and Finance. The exam is based on semester wise.
Placement Experience
Many decent companies like Aegis, Allegis Group, Amazon, Ample Technologies, Angel Broking, ANZ, etc. visited our college and recruit the students. Our college also conducts a campus drive which helped us a lot in exposure to the corporate world. The average salary package was around 3.5 LPA.
College Events
Our college always celebrates and conduct fun events. We had cultural events where the students bring out their talent in dancing, singing cultural dance, etc. There are different kind of club to join and we also had sports events, I participated in the tug of war games it was very fun and I enjoyed a lot. Along with that, sports facilities for chess, volleyball, table tennis, etc. are also provided in the campus itself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of my college is affordable, it not that expensive, unlike other management colleges. I paid around 210,000 INR as my first-year fee for my Executive MBA program which is pretty feasible. For the second year, I paid around INR 4.2 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not know anything specific about the scholarships but I know that our college accepts the national scholarships. So, students who have financial issues can opt for the national scholarship which is very convenient for the students.
Admission
I pursued an MBA course at the CIMS college, I chose this because I need to learn about business in detail. I already had a work experience of 2 years and wanted to extend my business understanding. In order to get admission, I took the CMAT exam and after which I was invited for the PI round. The entire admission process went pretty smoothly.
Faculty
The faculty of my college are highly qualified and all of them had relevant work experience. They interact with the students and communicated well with the students. Especially there way of treating us almost like peers, rather than students was exceptional. We had more than 10 teaching faculty members in our department.
