Remarks
The NBA accredited MBA program from the DMIMS was a perfect fit for me and for my profile. I learned a lot from the curriculum, while the guest lectures and other co-curricular activities allowed us to grow as a better business professional. Infrastructure and other facilities were also top-notch.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was pretty updated and was very helpful in getting a deep insight about the business industry. We studied about the topics like Business Economics, Financial management, operations, organisational behavior, etc. From third semester onwards we studied our specialisation based on our area of interest. I opted for HR as my specialization.
Placement Experience
Around 70% of the batch got placed before the final exams. Most of the placements were for the profiles like HR, operations, marketing profile etc. Companies like Amazon, Axis, Colgate Palmolive, Haldirams, ICICI securities visited the campus for the recruitment process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My annual fee was around 132,000 INR with the total fee to be somewhere around 264,000 for the two year program. This fee covered our tuition fee, examination fee, caution fee, registration fee, etc. Fee structure was pretty much feasible for me, since I secured a pretty decent job on campus, thanks to this course.
Campus Life
Seminars, workshops and conferences were a regular thing in our college. We learned a lot during this extra sessions that would be organised at least twice a month. From synergizing Human Capital Potential to a skit by Mumbai's Dabbawala there were many informative turns during these events.
Admission
The admission process required the applicants to appear for the management level entrance exam. I registered with the DTE with my MAH-CET scores and other academic details for the counseling process. The shortlisted students from the common admission process are intimated by the release of the merit list. Shortlisted students have to appear at the college campus for the document verification process.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty talented and organised. They were pretty certain about their teaching methodology and yet quite flexible in terms of explaining a topic several times. The mode of teaching usually includes assignment and ppts. We learned a lot from the syllabus and the faculty itself, especially their real life experiences which they shared with us.
