My PGDM Review

My overall experience with the SSMC college was good. I learned a lot and made many friends at the same time. I have many memorable moments that I will cherish all my life. I will definitely recommend my college to someone who is seeking admission to an MBA program, specifically in the Gwalior region.

To be honest, the course curriculum was updated at regular intervals. Our curriculum was divided into four semesters, during which we studied a blend of subjects and courses. The first two semesters are dedicated to providing the students with a holistic view of general MBA, while from the third semester onwards we learned about the specialization subjects.

The placement cell organized many personality development programs which literally helped me on a personal note. Placement cell is active in inviting companies for the placement process. Many companies recruit students for multiple profiles, though the package offered could be better. On average students are offered 4-5 LPA and that's the range for most of the job offers. I myself got placed in Delloite.

For the first semester, I paid around 485,000 INR while for the second sem I paid 460,000 INR which can be paid either in offline or online mode. This fee was inclusive of registration fees, tuition fees, caution fees, etc. Accommodation charges were to be paid separately. Overall, it is a pretty affordable college.

The infrastructure is good. The best part is the open-air theater, which is the best place for organizing events. The auditorium is mostly used for guest lectures. The entire campus has wi-fi connectivity, although it has connectivity issues. There is even a gym, right there within the campus.

The admission process was quite straightforward. I didn’t face any issues during the admission process. The administration was quite supportive during the admission process. I attended the counseling round including a personal Interview. The institute accepts SNAP scores.

All of our faculty members were good and qualified. I learned a lot from them. They shared their experiences with us, which helped in getting practical applications of what we learned. Most of the learning was on a practical basis.
