My College Review

Our curriculum was carefully curated in order to provide an insight about the management and analytical tools. More emphasis was towards understanding the consumer behavior by using the technology. Course duration for my PGP program was around 11 months and we were awarded proper certification at the end of our term.

Almost every big company is tapping into the field of Big Data and Business Analytics. Companies like Accenture, Atos, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC, KPMG, Fractal, Angel Broking, Cybage, edelweiss, Teradata, HDFC, Ford Automotive, Mercedes-Benz, are some of the companies that recruit students from our department. Salary packages offered are in the range of 6-9 LPA.

My total course fee was around 5.75 Lacs for the two year program, which is a bit high for a PGP course but after passing out from here and having a decent salary package in your hand, it will make the course worth the pain.

Our college provide scholarships like G4 Scholarship in the field of distance education and Joint scholarships to the students to help them in their studies. Students have to apply during the time of admission in order to avail these benefits. Merit-cum-means based scholarship is offered to the students with excellent academic record.

While studying for B. Tech, my main agenda was to pursue management. Hence, I attempted the MAT exam and fortunately scored 650. The Business Analytics course from Aegis was an ideal course for me. Thus, after seeing the cut off I learned that I was eligible for pursuing PGP from Aegis.

Faculty was pretty damn cool and well versed with the topics and updates in the IT domain. With an ample amount of industry experience, they all have seen the evolution of Big Data pretty closely. They shared their personal experience and different research findings and updates specifically related to our industry.
