Once in a lifetime experience

AIEEE which is known as JEE-Mains in recent times was the enterance examination. My rank was 1,49,464 out of the 12 lakhs students appeared in 2012. I had two options either B.arch or B.tech so because of my interest in technical area. I choose to go for Btech and this is the best college in haryana region so I selected this one for further studies.

Our college is affiliared under Kurukshetra University so The course curriculum is as per the standards of Kurukshetra University and AICTE.

We had 6 weeks summer internship program twice in our 4 years curriculum. TCS has a bong signed with our college so it'a a mass recruiter in our college. It generally offers a stipend of 8000-12000 per month.

As of now for our batch around 12 companies came in 7th semester only and around 40 companies will come in 8th semester. The companies includes Tata Consultancy Services, Decimal Technologies, Accenture, Prolifics pvt. Ltd. , Tech Mahindra, XL Dynamics and the list goes on. TCS and Accenture are the mass recruiters and they offer a package of 3.6 lakhs p.a. to the freshers and recruites around 200-250 students from a batch.

Our college organises one technical fwst for each trade and one common anual fest every year. As I am from computer science so our technical fest called Technojashan is celebrated every year in september. Each and every student from the trade either volunteers an event or participate in it. Annual fest known as Zestival is organised in march every year which is for each and every branch in the college.

Fee structure is very nominal. It is Rs. 64000 per annum only which has to be submitted in two installments. First installment of 40,000 and the other one of 24,000.

Yes out college has fee waiver scholarship scheme. And for the loan part there is no support from college. An individual has to approach a bank only.

Hostels are very well maintained and every type of room is available. Either individual or on twin sharing basis. The hostel charges are around 20000 per annum. I don't actually know About this in detail as I am a day scholar.

Exams structure is again according to the norms of Kurukshetra University. We have monthly test known as sessionals which has a weightage in final exams as well and final exams after each semester ends.
