Remarks

I have really enjoyed studying here. I thoroughly enjoyed the two years I studied here. The university has a very good placement record and the placement cell is very supportive. I would recommend this college to all, especially for a professional program like MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our syllabus was prescribed by AKTU university, thus the curriculum was pretty updated. We learned a lot from the curriculum and it was specifically aimed at making students industry-ready. Exams were held at the end of each semester. Evaluation of the students was done on the basis of their performance in the classroom and external exams. Summer internship and dissertation was also a crucial part for our course. Most of my interview questions were based on my project report.

Placement Experience

3.5

HP, SAG Infotech, Bharti AXA were one of the few companies which visited the campus for recruiting students. I was a part of the placement cell and we continuously approached different companies to increase the opportunities for the students to get placed. Highest packages secured by a student from my batch is 6 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very affordable. It has been adjusted to a level where students of all economic backgrounds can continue their education. I pay Rs. 35000 per year, and in total my course fee was 70k. Overall, day to day expenses were also pretty much feasible.

Campus Life

4.5

There are multiple sports options available for students and extracurricular activities available in the college. There is yoga, taekwondo, Netball, power-lifting, weight lifting, etc. The university organizes yearly tournaments and inter-college meets for students to test their skills and to take a break from the exhausting curriculum.

Admission

Students with 50% marks in the graduation are eligible to apply for the MBA program from NCET. Admission to the MBA course is done through the UPSEE entrance exam. The university also considers the overall academic performance of the student while shortlisting.

Faculty

4

The faculty are educated and quite knowledgeable here. They are willing to help whenever possible. Often students find it intimidating to approach teachers with doubts, but that is not the case at AKTU University. The accessibility of the faculty was exceptional.

Remarks:

The college is good but there are some issues which I have in this college like long lectures of 1.5 hours they are very tiring they should be of 1 hour maximum and no proper timing of a day as it can get very long as lab sessions can get long up to 6 or 6:30 pm even when the college gets over on 4:30 pm. No holiday on Saturday. Which makes 6 working days in a week which is just too much. Every human need some personal time on weekends.
