Course Curriculum Overview

4

In MBA the college had segregated the course into 4 semesters. In 1st and 2nd semesters we were taught basic and core subjects which were mandatory subjects like Finance management, Principles of management and Business laws. Eventually, we were given the choice to select our interest area of management in the 3rd and 4th semesters in which I learned about Human Resource Management as well as Marketing Management. And for the exam purpose, we use to get question papers for the reference during exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

Every final year students were given permission to sit for the off-campus placement and approximately 70% of the students were placed in a good organization with a high salary package of about Rs 7 to 9 LPA. Eventually on an average many of my classmates were earning around Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 and more than that. Even I got placed in Amazon as an operational manager

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid around Rs 25,000/- in my 2nd year this cost includes all the other expenses as the tuition fee and in the 1st year the fee was approximately Rs 30,000/-. Thus, the total amount for the commencement of the MBA program cost me around Rs 54,000 - Rs 55,000/-.

Alumni/Alumna

We got registered in the Alumni section without tension as we were given proper facilities in which we were allowed to present the research the paper. As well whenever the college organizes any type of seminars we are also invited to attend the same.

Admission

Admission for the MBA program was not at all tough as I already gave this Karnataka PGCET entrance, and the admission over here was totally based on the cut off percentage acquired in the entrance exam. Thus, I was able to get into this college.

Faculty

4

My professors were well trained and almost every one of them was post-doctorate. And had an immense amount of teaching experience that helped us to focus and understand each and every managerial theory easily.

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by this college isn't the best in the industry but not bad either. Ine can expect anywhere between 6-16 lakhs per annum packages from the college. But searching for your own seems to be better as the highest package received in the college was for 48 lakh per annum by a student who went through the placement procces own his own. When it comes to percentage of student placement about 80% of the students get placed where the other 20% are students who wish to start their own entrepreneurship or pursue higher studies. If gettimg a placement is your goal, you'll definitely get placed from the college. I plan on searching for placement on my own and get into a good company.

Remarks:

One of the best colleges in Bengaluru and the campus is the main attraction. It's a green campus. Also, the faculty members are very experienced with an average teaching experience of 20 years. The courses offered in this college are vivid and up to the industry expectations. Also, the syllabus of the courses in our college gets updated every year according to the market trend. Placements are above average with an average package of 7LPA.

XIME is a good place to be in and it depends upon the student to absorb as much as possible and live a balanced life. These two years will be a roller coaster ride and one heck of a journey. Be sure to make the most of it; you will learn the greatest management and life lessons, here. Your individual efforts will matter way more than just the 'ranking' of college.

Positive is that they concentrate on discipline aspects of the student and the negative is that there is only less opportunities from college for industrial visits and other activities like sports where there is only less place in the college
