Value of education in SA Engineering College

There will always be two types of college. In which you can study and a college which you can enjoy buy in this college you can't study and you can't also enjoy.

First of all you should understand that no college teaches engineering. They just want you to score marks and get placement to promote their college. So its up to you to learn by yourself. There will be three internal exams. in which if you fail they would conducting a coaching classes which is completely waste of time.

When it comes to event our college is zero. They conduct events just for name sake. I haven't seen any proper events conducted. One thing I felt usefull was events conducted by entrepreneur cell but now it was totally abandoned.

If you came through government quota it will be around 1 lakh including bus fees. Transport fee is compulsory for first year and for others it is optional. For management quota you may need to pay more than 1 lakh. We compared to other institution it is less but my opinion is it is not worth paying.

There will be scholarship for sc, st, bc, mbc. For sc and st there will be a huge scholarship amount and for bc there would be be a scholarship of around 5k per semester. This scholarship amount varies according to individual.

There is no any extracurricular activities other than academics don't believe their banners and advertisement. Actually they call for extra curricular activities but your department doesn't permit you then what is the use of extra curricular activities. They have recently started lot lab I don't Know how good is it.

They used to conduct alumni meet once a year for which they collect money from passed out students which is completely unfair. They most don't create any chance to collab with your seniors its you talent to get in touch with your seniors.

I got admission in this college through anna University counseling. You can also get admission directly through management quota. The only difference is in management quota you need to pay donation whish isn't worth paying for this college. You are willing to get admission through management quota you can look for other options.

There are only a few faculty who are really talented others are not even qualified to teach 12th students. They obsoletely treat you as an school student they don't treat you as a college student. The talented faculty used to transfer to other institution due to lack of recognition.
