Remarks

Very strict in terms of discipline and code of conduct. They college primarily empasis on discipline and decorum Education can be achieved only bu dicipline on terns of the colleges motto however in this advent od technology it is quite old school

Placement Experience

Job of opportunities only for IT students and the fields relating to computer science and engineering only. all other modes have been seeing a rough patch in terms of placements is concerned. Despite efforts taken by the college management to provide placements for other streams. They weren't that successful.

College Events

Almost all native events are celebrated excluding religious festivals. Religious festivals are declared holidays. Peoples from hostels are restricted from going home on these days. But somehow people manage to go to their home.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1 lakh per annum is the average fees in the college However people having merit can apply for government subsidies and can avail upto 50% in the total payable fees. Thanks to the government of Tamil Nadu

Fees and Financial Aid

Government aids only. Since in Tamilnadu government offers scholarships upto 50 percentage for students with merits anyother modes of scholarship proves to be less preferable. Despite this students who has good range is extra curricular activites manage to gain some extra scholarships

Campus Life

All major sports are available to play and practice. Tournaments are often held and it would be very helpful for the students to recover from their heavy work schedules. They also have indoor games like chess and carrom.

Hostel Facilities

3000 per month os the average requirement of a hosteller for meeting their expenses for a month however cost of living is comparatively low as the college is situated out of city. Students coming from rural areas find benefitting due to this.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes every alumini or senior of the college is kind they want us to have a good lige if they ahve a good job in a reputed company they will refer us if we are skilled enough. There are alomost zero cases of ragging reported in last few years

Admission

Civil engineering has been my likings from my childhood i have always wanted to build buildings and stuff. it happens to me that i desired what i have always wished for. This college is more of a IT oriebted college nevertheless it was good

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
