Remarks

As its, an autonomous institution one cannot say his wishes or problems to others. That will somehow affect student's marks. But not always, only in few cases. But the student has to pay what the management asks for.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The structure is based on the outcome, feedback, and recommendations of seniors or alumni who have studied the course before juniors. Each department has a coordinator who takes information from the students and says that to the head of the department and the educational coordinator.

Placement Experience

3

Once you are selected for one company the college does not give any choice for a second. And even somehow if you get selected one for your betterment and which you wanted. There is no way the college will allow it according to your wish. You have to go for the one which you got selected at first. So, there is no freedom in that case. The student pays some amount for the placement program and he may not get satisfaction overall. But many companies visit on campus, around 60-70+ companies. And on average a company select 5-6 students. Some of the companies are Zoho, Altran, Vuram technologies, aspire systems, kaar technologies, etc. And on average stipend provided is around 6000-7000 per month.

College Events

4

The college does not celebrate all the events. Each department has its own time to conduct events. There is not much for gathering the whole college. Initiative clubs in the college conduct events for students which are also organized by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible till 3rd year and in the final year, the student comes to college only for 2-3 months and for that the management asks for a full transport fee. And apart from that, the placement cell gets a contribution fee from students who got selected in various companies and also a fine amount from students who gets absent during the placement training program. The only first-year is a little expensive as the college provides books, uniforms which are around 5000. And Some departments collect association fees. And on average a day scholar students pay an amount of 80000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a scholarship program from Anna University and not all category Students can get the scholarship. And only govt quota students can have scholarships. The loan is not provided by the college.

Campus Life

3

There are a lot of extracurricular activites like clubs and sports activities. Students can participate in various events regardless of gender ratio except on woman's day. There is no celebration for men's day like woman's day. There is no diversity among students. Unity is seen everywhere inside the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a mobile and web app for alumni as a social network platform. And they are too friendly to share their views. They help juniors a lot in many ways. Their experience sharing helps students to have much knowledge on what is happening in and around them.

Admission

Got a cut off of 136 from PCM, then applied for TNEA counseling from Anna university and selected the college with cse as the core. Then the college has called for the admission process at the campus. Submitted all the proof and certificates, paid the fee, and joined.

Faculty

3.5

A maximum of the faculties are good at teaching and delivering things so well as they are well trained on the topic. They allow us to explore beyond the subjects like visual examples. Encourage students to publish journals.

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
