Remarks

There are both positive and negative things about my college too. Positive things are like, good faculty and staff, good education, good fee structure, etc, and negative things are washrooms are not maintained properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen biotechnology in my college as the main subject, that I have also chosen microbiology and biochemistry. Biotechnology lab is a master chilling spot because we interact with professors and friends to understand the topic and they are friendly too.

Placement Experience

3.5

Cannot tell it's very good, but a limited number of companies will come to the college for campus interviews and selection. Generally, software companies will be coming in huge numbers. Since we are science background the number of companies for us is less.

College Events

4

Not a big number of events will be conducted, but a yearly science ad commerce fest will be conducted. Fest will be good. They will also provide food and a big bang for entertainment. Celebrities from film and other backgrounds will be invited as guests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is comparatively better than the other colleges in the locality. Our fee structure is about 17000- 18000 per annum and semester exam fees will be collected around 1500. When it is compared to other colleges, our college has a better fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

We do not have any separate college-based scholarships instead we have our government-based scholarships such as vidyasiri and vidyasarathi. We received about 2000-3000 per year in the about mentioned scholarships.

Campus Life

4

We have various other extracurricular activities in our college, labs are held for each and every subject, they have provided well-equipped laboratories, we have great opportunities in sports too, like throwball, kabaddi, basketball, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, I have not opted for the hostel. I have not opted because I am a localite to my college. I live in Mysore and even my college is in Mysore. So I don't get the situation to live in the hostel. As I have heard, our hostel is good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we get helped through seniors and super senior students about our college, our marks allotment, textbooks, our exam patterns, and the job opportunities given by our college, they help us in need.

Admission

I got a seat because of my PUC percentage. This college is good in biotechnology faculty and teaching, so I wished to join here and it is near to my home too so I joined here. The fee structure was also average so I preferred this college.

Faculty

3.5

Fantastic faculty, all the members including staff members, professors, lab attendees, and security are friendly. Our college is not too strict. They have given the freedom that a basic college can give to their students.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
