You can find diversity in the campus and may get involved in any extra curricular activities you want.The library in the campus is a big platform to learn anything.Museums are many in the campus you can visit them too.

The course curriculum is revised after each year and includes all topics that is required by renowned exams and private companies as well.Lab classes are also included in each semester. Exam structure consists of one mid semester examination worth 25 marks, assignment needs to be submitted and consists of 15 marks and the end semester examination comprises of 60 marks.

Best in it, as the university comprises of more than 250 different courses and each student is allowed to perform any activity in any department.Regarding sports, AMU has produced best hockey players, ice skaters, cricket players, polo players and much more in short in university you can play any game and can get couches in the same too so you excel in that too.Student diversity is good and students mainly from middle East prefer to study here.No religion based divisiveness is found here.Economic status is great as this is the central university.Moreover elections are conducted every year for the selection of students union leaders.

Hostel rooms are in good condition and depending on the room that you get you may have to share it with two students or one.You may also opt for single seater, but this inturn depends upon your standing in that particular hostel and the availablity of room.Most of students get their rooms alloted in first year yet only few are left that mainly prefer PG's that are available outside mostly for ?7,000 per head per month.

Alumni scholarships are available and guidence is also provided for the admissions in foreign universities.Alumni network is immense but maily based in middle East and USA.Alumni often attend different functions and help the students to carve their future planning.

Aligarh Muslim University conducts entrance test and the selection is done according to merits achieved.After that merit list is published and counselling is done in the college for conquering the desired courses.

Faculty is good but needs to be improved.Number of teachers are sufficient but quality of their teaching is questionable yet you don't get affected as university provides good platform to learn what teachers may not be.
