Entrance Preview

Anna university counseling which is conducted by Tamilnadu government by shortlisting the candidates with respect to the mark in PCM and allotted for counseling and college can be selected as per the availability

Internships Opportunities

No internship opportunities made by them while I was studying by the college. We should approach by ourselves for internships but they will arrange training at different areas like powerplant, doordarshan etc

Placement Experience

The students who get higher marks will get placed by them. not much companies came while I was studying. If we take high marks they will help us to get placed in some companies. Now the scenario is changing and as the college is developing more there is future scope for good placements

College Events

They conduct department symposium, culturals, annual college and sports day etc two days cultural program held in a grand manner. Departmental symposium will be conducted and students from many different colleges participate in it and also national conferences were arranged by them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Educational loan and all government scholarships were available and also first graduate reduction will be done in fees. Fees reduction is also available for merit based students. They will send circular to students about the availability of scholarship

Gender ratio is around 50/50 other than mechanical department, many different workshops will be conducted by the department and its a Kerala institution and hence there presents mallus with Tamil peoples and some north Indians too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good and food also not bad. Approximately more than 60000 to be paid for hostel. Hostel day for different games will be conducted, the hostel day celebration will be done in a grand manner. Pongal festival, onam festival, diwali, Christmas all w

There is alumni association available and they help us for our future decision. Many students were in good position in their career. Placements were arranged with the help of them for eligible students.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The learning years of my life

The college is a very small college. But, inspite of being that it provides basic amenities to us. The teaching was good a few years back but has degraded now. Some of the teachers are good and teach the syllabus very well but some of them aren't good. The placements aren't very nice but the teachers encourage us to go off campus and give interviews.
