Remarks

I wouldn't say anything negative but i would add a few things that would be helpful if added like: job opportunities, better infrastructure, smart learning, extended curriculum, better plant visits and lessening unwanted expenses for books and paper that we already have.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

It was informative but not enough to start work directly in the field. The course curriculum didn't impart as much knowledge that was required to have an industrial job. Fundamental topics that needed to be covered were left out of the syllabus and thus began the hunt for different courses to satisfy job criteria.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement opportunities were nil. The campus was horrible in that way and no support was given by the department even in job searching or assisting students to find a job. The companies that came were all call centers and offered peanuts for exorbitant tasks.

College Events

2

A single symposium was conducted for two years, Department wise i suppose. Training for soft skills was conducted for three days, self paid by students of course. Open house for parents to review their children and finally Campus placement fair with only BPOs

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was moderate with 4 lakhs for the entire course. Traveling expenses aside and training and plant visit expenses aside. The fee structure was manageable for a counseling student. For management students however the fee structure was 6 lakhs for the course

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans were offered for the backward caste and scheduled caste students. Stipends were promised to the top ranking students which turned out to be a ruse. So that's pretty much it. Scholarships were hard to come by as they took a lot of time to be processed.

Campus Life

1.5

Well, plant visits were arranged but at the students' expense. Training was conducted on microcontrollers and stuff which were kind of not helpful at all. Soft skill training etc was conducted which turned out to be unfruitful and then the plant visits which were not even department oriented.

Hostel Facilities

2

I had opted for home stay as I was quite close but the hostel conditions was sub standard. 6 guys in a room with bunk beds and no proper ventilation. Water was a rare commodity to come by and the food was watered down and not that edible.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors didn't mind us much. Thet asked us why we picked this stuoid college and we didnt understand why. They practically had no communication with us and were not even active during student meets and symposiums.

Admission

Your 12th cut-off marks, total= physics+chemistry/3 and Mathematics/2 classify you among all other candidates and then counseling is held according to the grades you scored in and you get to decide your college.

Faculty

3

Their prime duty was to educate and complete the syllabus. They gave no advice about job handling scenarios, nor did they teach anything beyond the syllabus. Timely tests were conducted to filter out the brightest among the students and selective preference was given to the slow learners. That was pretty much it.

Placement Experience:

Placements were too good in DACE. They also provide training for students who opt for higher studies or civil service exams. For higher studies, they give gate training. For the civil service exam, they give specific training for students to join government jobs. Other than this very good MNC companies with high packages will come to DACE for recruitment.
