Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course curriculum is quite good and is in line with the AICTE defined guidelines. The two year MBA program is divided into a semester wise manner. That is a single year of an MBA program comprises of 2 semesters. The first is the odd semester and the second one is the even semester. Apart from the end sem-exam mid-term evaluation and tests are also held. Both theoretical and practical examinations are conducted as a part of the end semester examination.

Placement Experience

4.5

placement rate of the college is good and around 60% to 70% of the strength of a batch gets placed through campus placement. One can also explore good opportunities based on his own efforts as a good number of our seniors have been placed in firms like Colgate, ITC, Oricon, Bonanza portfolio, Asian Paints, Evos, Tech Mahindra, SNL finance, Masuk securities, ICICI securities, etc on their own. In terms of the internship, the college has nothing much to offer and one has to be on his own to do the internship. One can get good internship with a little effort.

College Events

4.5

in terms of extra curricular activities the college has clubs like cultural club, sports club and other such related clubs. Events like annual fest, sports meet, freshers party, farewell etc are organised by the college. Infrastructure wise the college is sound. The classrooms and laboratories are equipped with all the necessities that are stipulated and mentioned by the AICTE for colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the college is a bit on higher side as is expected from any MBA private college. However it is not as much as that of the IIMs. For first year one has to pay around 98k during the time of the admission. In the subsequent year the fee gets reduced however it remains around the same amount. For financial assistance the best way is to apply for education loan if you find this amount to be hefty.

Fees and Financial Aid

The state government offers scholarships to the student especially from the economically weaker section and the reserved category. If you fall under the category then you can avail the benefit of scholarship. However, if you don't fall under these categories then you can avail of the benefits from the national scholarship portal of the central government. I myself availed an educational loan facility from the Punjab National Bank and one can avail of the education loan facility from any of the private sector or public sector banks.

Admission

I sat for both the CAT examination as well as the CMAT examination. Since my score in the CAT exam was not good I got admission to the college through the CMAT exam. The college also offers admission under management quota however there the fee is higher as donation charges are also to be paid. I opted for this college in particular because of their placement record and distance from my hometown.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is very professional and is equipped with the knowledge of management studies. Many of the senior faculties have years of experience working in the corporate domain while others have a good grasp over their respective subject. They provide us both the theoretical and the real-world knowledge so that we get those insights that are required to be implemented when we get jobs. They are quite Cooperative and helpful.

The course is like they say we are not teachers here we are, mentors, to guide you and jot to teach you as you have grown up now so should learn things by your own self so the course is as such and the faculty is like everywhere you will have the same situation it's OK.

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.
