Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was pretty great. Our PGDM course was a two year program, spanning over 2 years and six trimesters. Students have to study a blend of core subjects like marketing, operations, human resource, finance, etc. and elective subjects.
Placement Experience
The placement cell organises guest lectures, industry meets and seminars, industry visits, pre-placement talks and other such activities to enhance the corporate exposure of students. Some of the frequent recruiters of our students include companies like Safexpress, Future India, ICICI securities, Delloite, Redington, etc.
College Events
Our PGDM program was a residential program with a customised schedule for the students to balance life and hectic work schedule. There was a perfect balance between classes and recreational activities. Spardha was the Youth Fest which is organised annually and it is more electric even of a typical session. Blood Donation Camp, Guest Lectures, Seminars, Alumni meet and many more events are celebrated in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My annual fee was around 3.26 Lacs which was a bit expensive for me. Though this fee included tuition fee, examination fee, registration fee, accommodation fee, etc. but still paying more than 6.5 lacs for a two years course was a bit too much. Anyhow, the facilities provided were all pretty good , including the hostel facilities.
Hostel Facilities
As I mentioned earlier, it was a residential program. Our entire day schedule was synchronised in order to maximise the productivity and establish a balance between life. Yumbox was our main hanging point and we made a lot of great memories in the hostel.
Admission
Admission process is pretty robust for the PGDM courses. College accepts all the recognised entrance exams of management like CAT/MAT/XAT etc. I applied at the college with my MAT scores. After that I appeared for the GD-PI round, which also went well. After document verification process I was asked to pay the fee and was granted admission.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty supportive throughout the course. They were more like our mentors who cared about our career and took the initiative of guiding and making us industry ready. They were qualified and experienced, with some of them having industry experience of more than 10 years.
