Remarks

Infrasture may not influence everyone. A better college must have a better infrastructure and facilities which are not proper here. Classrooms and labs are not up to standards which they should have.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is based on Punjabi University Patiala. exams are held twice a year along with 2 mid-semester exams also. exams are conducted in December and may months before which practicals are also held.

Placement Experience

1.5

A job fair is held once a year within the college, students can apply for the interviews. However, most of the companies offer jobs in call centers or data entry. Some others provide jobs in the marketing field. companies related to the course are very less as the job fair is open for all the colleges irrespective of the course.

College Events

2.5

There are several events that are celebrated. Starting with the fresher's party for the new students, some regional festivals such as Besakih are also celebrated other than this an annual intercollege competition occurs where anyone can participate in dance, solo song, group song, gk quiz, regional gk quiz, bhangra, gidha, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure seems to be feasible for a middle-class student for BSc Medical it's somewhere around 10000 per year for students having very weak backgrounds who can apply for fee relaxation. Students with the weak backgrounds and sharp minds are also provided with scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students with a poor background can apply for fee relaxation where most of the fees are relaxed and they have to pay only minor part. students with good academics records are provided with scholarships.

Campus Life

2

Old labs are not good, not even average. new labs constructed are good with better infrastructure and facilities. sports activities are less, students play on their own but college does not arrange any tournament in the college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel are average. rates are good but infrastructure is average. new hostels are in construction so upcoming new students might get better hostels. food is not available in the hostel. students have to manage their food.

Alumni/Alumna

Many of the alumni are on the Facebook page of the college. If anyone has any query they can ask there. they might get appropriate answers. students can also have personal contacts with alumni or seniors.

Admission

The admission process is based on 12th marks obtained from CBSE or any other equivalent board, number of students applying for the b.sc medical course is less so anyone can easily get admission. you have to provide photocopies of 12th, 10th certificates along with valid id proof. Character certificates and migration certificates are also needed. Students who belong to the reserved category they have to provide their caste certificate also.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college are nice but you might encounter some strict teachers also. Most of the teachers are responsible and helping. The syllabus might or might not get completed within the semester based on the teacher and some other external factors such as more holidays or activities held by the college.

We have really the best faculty as per my knowledge. They come up with the best ideas to make us learn and keep us motivating for our career. They have a positive spark which they spread all over when it comes to the course. Yes sometimes they are strict and make you realise that you can't do anything but at the end it's for our betterment we have improved a lot by listening those scoldings . So yes it's being good to acknowledge your self here. Morning exam schedule ( sessional test) is : 9.30 - 10:30 and for Evening time : 2.00 to 3.00 end term we have Morning 9.30 to 12.30
