Remarks
My overall experience with the college was pretty good. Overall infrastructure was great and they are expanding exponentially and the placements are also on rise. Overall, I had a great time with my college, especially the faculty which inspired me to change for good and adapting traits which will made us corporate ready.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was pretty detailed. Our curriculum was prescribed by the Bangalore University and it covered a wide range of subjects like Economics, Finance, Management, Organisational Behaviour, etc. The first two semesters covered an overview of all the different subjects and we selected two specializations out of these subjects.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are good, but I wasn't satisfied with the placement packages being offered to us. The placement assistance provided was good. We even got dedicated sessions for personality development. Companies like HCL, HP, Amazon, Dell, HDFC visited our campus during the placement process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My one year fee was around 54k which was pretty feasible when you compare it other management colleges. Our college was pretty affordable in this sense and had some pretty decent canteen and stationary shops which were also available at pretty affordable prices.
Hostel Facilities
Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided by the college at pretty affordable prices. During my batch boys hostel had an accommodation strength of 110 while girls hostel can accommodate around 50 girls. Girls hostel is in Rajajinagar to accommodate about 53 girl students.
Admission
Admissions to the MBA program is on the basis of norms prescribed by Bangalore University (BU). In order to be eligible for admission students have to appear for the PGCET exam conducted by Karnataka authority. I secured a decent rank in the exam and henceforth I was invited for the counseling round. There on the admission process was pretty smooth.
Faculty
Our faculty consisted of a pool of well qualified and dedicated professors. They all had relevant degrees in their niche like our economics faculty was a Ph. D., our Behavioural Science professor had a M.Phil. degree. Almost the entire panel was qualified, while some had intensive corporate experience. All these factors made their teaching much more fun.
