Remarks

Positive - fees is less, you be self efficient, become bold and acquire knowledge (academically and for life). Study lessons for life also. Will be able to withstand all extreme conditions. Learn to live without expectations Negative - no hostel, no campus space, only 84 cents. No ground. No good people, no placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is a double degree, one is Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law. There are 10 semesters and 60 subjects. Normally if any one take a degree and llb, it takes 6 years. But the integrated course is for 5 years, it will save 1year. The exam structure is every semesters there are 6 subjects. Upto 6th semesters all the six subjects are theory papers. For theory paper 75 marks are for external exam (six 5 mark questions, two 10 mark questions and two 12.5 mark questions ) and 25 marks is internal marks (5 for attendance, 10 for assignment and seminar and 10 for internal exam). There are 1 project for BBA, 2 Viva (one for BBA and one for LLB), Drafting, Moot, ADR and internship for which full marks are provided as internal

Placement Experience

0.5

1st of all there is no placement cell. We have to do 20 weeks internship. Its compulsory. But not guidance from the college. They don't give any support. If students themselves find any good opportunities, the college authorities denies the consent letter, they don't do anything. They just annoy you and destroy your chances

College Events

1.5

Farewell for seniors. Both BBA LLB (5year) and LLB (3year) students have separate farewell. Its the big event in the college. Arts fest are celebrated, but not in every year. Onam celebration, valentine's day celebration, union inauguration etc are conducted by students. College conduct National Moot Court Competition every year. There are 4 clubs (we call it centers) they conduct international and national seminars (bur inactive from last 2 years). Adalats conducted by ADR center

Fee Structure And Facilities

Admission fee is around 4000 around 3000 per sem including exam fees. If eligible for E-grants then its totally free. This fee is only for government college. For private colleges the fee is around 80000-90000 per year for merit seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

E grants, its a merit scholarship provided by the government for socially and economically backward classes. The scholarship amount is different for different classes. Students eligible for e grantzs don't need to pay any fees in government college

Campus Life

3

No need for lab, so there is no labs. From the past few years college is participating in D Zons cricket tournament, D zone football tournament and D zone arts fest. There is a tennis court in the college. A caroms and chess room are also there. College conduct moot court competitions, Adalats. Thats all

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No college hostel for our college. There are a few private hostels. Can rate my hostel 4/5. Compared to other hostels its the best. Most of the private hostels exploit students because they have no more options are available.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful for certain amount. But teachers ! Don't expect anything from them. Here if you want anything, you want to work for it by yourself. Don't expect anything from anyone. This is the specialty of the college.

Admission

There is a Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE), conducted by the government. The entrance exam details are available at the website of commissioner of entrance exam kerala (CEE Kerala ). There are 4 government law colleges and approx. 17 self financing colleges in Kerala in which the admission is given by the merit list from kerala law entrance exam. I wrote KLEE in 2018 and got good score and reasonable rank in the list. The admission procedures are, 1st want to register for the exam from CEE Kerala website, then the candidates will get hall tickets for exam, then they should write the exam on the date and place fixed by entrance commission, the exam will be out of 600 marks, there are 200 questions each 3 marks for right answer and -1 for wrong answer. The entrance exam question will be from general english, current affairs and legal reasoning. After conducting the exam, they publish the marks and rank list in the site. After one week or one month centralized allotment process starts, candidate has to choose the colleges they prefer, and selections are based on the merit list. There are upto 4 allotments and spot admission if any seats are vacant. I got admission in the 2nd allotment. The candidate getting admission in any of the allotment has to produce their documents directly in the college and has to pay the fees within the said date. That's all

Faculty

3.5

Its a government college. So the attitude of the teachers are "if you want to study, you study thats not our responsibility ". They are not bothered about the students. They do their duty and go. No personal attachment or emotional attachments. Only a few friendly teachers. Neither the teachers have any attachment to the students nor the students have any attachment to the teachers. Some teachers teach very well. But 60% of them don't know what they are doing.

This course is definitely a long one. But I felt it is good so that we can learn two degrees within this 5 years and so that we don't waste much time . Teaching time starts from 9:30 till 3:30 . This can be changed and can stop at 1 in the afternoon. Even though our sem exams are lagging our internals happen every now and then which is actually helpful.
