Overall the college is good for the students who just want the degree certificate and the College life is average. College mainly focuses on the academics and not the overall development of the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
As everyone knows about the indian education system, the engineering course is not up to the mark , everyone is forced to study the boring and senseless subjects. Only good thing about such course is the student learns how to manage pressure.
Placement Experience
The companies that usually come for placements here are service based and not product based and the highest package they provide is around 4 lpa. No, the college doesn't provide any internship, we have to apply for them on our own.
College Events
The name of the college fest is tarangini , usually it is in the month of march , most of the activities there are cultural activities. No celebrity appears for the fest here. Another one is the tech fest for the geeks here which is moderately good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The admission fee which is a one time fee during the time of REAP is 10k. The fee structure is around 60-70k per semester (tuition fees). You can get hostels around this college for around 25-30k per semester. The fee structure is feasible but not worth spending 4 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship programs for the students who belong to backward classes, more than half of the total fees gets deducted. Also the government seats are very cheap if you get one ( not available in CS branch)
Campus Life
Labs are pretty decent in the college but the student needs to work on the experiments himself. The extra curricular activities include NCC and some cultural activities like dance competitions. Regarding sports , there is a sports week in the month of September-october where intra college tournaments occur.
Hostel Facilities
You can get hostels nearby this college for around 25-30k per semester. You can also find hostels who provide accommodation to the girls only, travelling to and from this college is convenient as ajmer is a very small city.
Alumni/Alumna
Only handful of the seniors have a good knowledge about tech and are willing to help the juniors. Most of them are here for the DEGREE and roam around asking the juniors to call them 'boss'. The first alumni meet held this year in the college.
Admission
My JEE MAINS rank was 70k and I got selected in the first merit list of this reap, students can also get admission through the 12th board result in the last round of reap. (A person with >75% can easily get through)
Faculty
Some of them are actually good , having a good knowledge about the subject they are teaching, but most of them just try to complete the part of the syllabus without any interaction with the students , they just come , deliver a pathetic lecture and go.
