The attendance criteria i don't like i.e. minimum 80%. And there are alao marks for attendance. Above 95%- 4 marks 90-95%- 3 marks 85-90%- 2 marks 80-85%- 1 mark Less than 80%- 0 marks And if you have attendance less than 80% then you will not be allowed to sit in the exams.

Overall course structure is good plus the departmemt stands second all india in NIRF 2019 rankings. Tje professors here are very friendly and helping and environment is also good. The minimum attendance criteria is 80%.

The placements for Graduates are good and for post graduates they are amazing. The department as such do not provide any internship but if you wanna do they do help you. The stipend for Master students who have cleared their GPAT is 12500 and for PhD scholars is 25000.

Fees structure is very feasible and i think its the cheapest in all india. Tution fee for one complete year is 15000. Examination fee for each semester is also less than 2600. It means less thn 1 lakh for your complete degree.

Many extracurricular activites are organised like quizzes and competitions. Labs here are good. They're are different labs for bachelors and masters students and they are well equipped with every chemical and apparatus.

Yes i have opted for hostel. The hostels here have good infrastructure. There are 8 boys hostels and 10 girls hostels. The hostel rooms have different options like single, double sharing and triple sharing. The hostel fees is also less than 12000 per year.

Senior students are very helpful. Alumnis are also good. They organise lectures in the department and many industrial visits are also there. There is no ragging case for past many years. Seniors behave as friends and always there in need.

The admission process is simple. There is an entrance exam known PU-CET for all sciences courses in Panjab University. B. Pharm. also comeunder this category. The exam is based on 11thand 12th syllabus. Both medical and non-medical students cnget admission. The test is simple and easy to clear. There is usually very high cut off for this course.

Faculty here is super amazing. They always encourage for particiation in different activites other than regular studies. They always try to deliver best of their knowledge. The way of teaching is superb which includes practical demonstrations nd presentations.
