Remarks

Overall a average college. Positive remarks: Relatively low fee comparatively. Attendance not that of a big issue. Negative remarks: Poor placements. Not a competitive environment. Average faculty. External marks checking is highly inappropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The college curriculum is totally based on RTU(Rajasthan Technical University ) latest schemes. From the precious year CGPA system is adopted for the first year onwards students. For the rest of the batches percentage system is there, which must me changed as in every job application cgpa system is preferred more than the percentage. Apart from this, the Course curriculum should be updated. The exam structure is divided into 8 semesters in 4 years tenure. Each semester comprises of 2 midterms which are held internally in the college along with assignments. End term exams comprises of 150 marks(120 theory+30 practical). And mind terms comprises of 15 marks each.

Placement Experience

3

The placements and job opportunities aren't that great. Around 7-8 companies visit campus for job placements. But none has ever come for internship placements. Mostly, The students apply for off campus recruit. The average package of on campus companies is 3 lakhs pa.But some packages may go high as 12 lakhs. I am not much satisfied by the experience.

College Events

3.5

I'll make the list from the beginning of the semester towards the end. 1.Freshers Party- Organised in September of every by the sophomores in order to welcome freshers. 2.Dandiya night- Organised by the senior year in the month of October. 3. Cultural and sports fests- Organised by the college in the month of March. 4.Annual fest- The annual function of the college. 5.Convocation- Degree distribution ceremony of the college. Apart from this various industrial visits , workshops and seminars are held constantly every year for different branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite affordable. It costs around 40k per year. Excluding the bus charges which is 10k per year. There are numerous scholarships for students coming from army background, low financial background, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The various scholarships is based on any of these factors- 1.Good 12th grade%: 2.Good JEE main score 3.Backward category 4.Army background 5.low financial background students The students have to apply prior to the semester beginning in order to avail these scholarships. Apart from this , as far as I know no other type of scholarship is offered.

Campus Life

4

Nopes. They ain't that good. The college has boys and girls corner rooms but they usually don't open it. The basketball court , badminton hall and volleyball court is there but they are not present in a very good condition. Computer labs are average. It doesn't have the latest operating system but we can bring our own laptops.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Highly helpful for me. But yeah they ain't connected to all of the students but yeah they help us out. Alumni meet happens sometimes but not frequently. It would be great if alumni comes to have an interactive session in the college students.

Admission

I gave JEE main in 2017 and applied for REAP after that. I arranged my choices on the basis of branches and then I arrange the order in such a way that CS was at the top. I got shortlisted for CS in this college. It was there in my hometown. I went to college on the reporting day and submitted all the documents and fee for semester 1.

Faculty

3.5

Honestly, the faculty of the college isn't that much advance. They'll help you clear out doubts until only semester exams and nothing more than it. Maths HOD is highly appreciated by all the students. His way of teaching is amazing as he explains it from scratch. Overall , the faculty is average.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at my college is decent and improving over time. Students usually become eligible for campus placement from 6th or 7th semester . Several companies for different sectors visit the college for recruitment mainly from IT, service and some core sectors . The roles offered are mostly for entry level positions . The average packages offered is around 5-7LPA while the highest can go up to around 8-10LPa depending on company and student performance. Approximately 70-80% students got placement through campus drives.

The campus placements are up to the mark. Students become eligible for placements from 6th semesters onwards. Even with recession going on during my time, the placement cell somehow managed to get good recruiters in the college and get a lot of students good offers. More than 160 companies visited to give more than 2000 offers. Highest package was from my class only which was 52 LPA and average was 6.8 LPA. Microsoft offered the highest placement and the profile was software developer. Almost 75 percent students got placed. I have completed my degree and I'm not starting my own thing. Not pursuing this sector anymore.
