College is very good with an very good infrastructure for students. Teachers are also cooperative as well as students are cooperative to our teachers in every fields.Teaching qualities are also good.Thank you.

Course curriculum is best for mining engineering branch due to little bit of all other branches courses are studied in mining engineering branch.In this branch we are giving normally eight semesters.After that you complete your graduation.

Placements are done in my college of my branch is good that overally eithty to ninty percentage campus opportunities are given in my college.Internships are provided also to our students for enhancing his practical knowledge.

There are so many events are celebrated in my college like main national events are celebrating in my college.Also different types of branch events are celebrated in my college with college events are done.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For studying the in government College fee structure is very minimal as compared to different types of high class private colleges.This fee structure is so much feasible for a average class students.very minimal.

My college given scholarship facilities for different students of different categories by means cast.But there is no facilities for the loan provided directly to the poor students. scholarship are given very well.

Campus Life

Yes, there is a big master library in our college for students also with different types of Labs are available for research in different parts of the respective branch section.There is an also facilities for different types playing games.

Hostel Facilities

If I can get a chance for rating to my college hostel then I will rated it full star because my college hostel design I don't have seen in different colleges.Rooms are very qualited and designed well as a student are happy to live.

Many seniors of my college are very Co operative to our college students in every field.some of them are feel that they are not necessary for our college because they haven't any role for college development in every fields.

I was entering through her jee main entrance examination which was held after plus two examination.After that I was giving in my first selection of my college name. when councelling results were announced that I was got a chance to study in this college.

Faculties are sufficiently available in my college.They are also highly qualified that they are suitable to teach to our mining engineering students.Some of them which are completed master degree in his own branch.

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting.
