Course Curriculum Overview

As we all know that the architecture field is all about having alot of work at the end of the day and architecture is contemplated as a hardest field in today's era so i find some subjects little bit tough which needs alot of hardwork and focus so, we feel chill as well as hectic.

College Events

there are myriads of events which are being organised by college or college students. events like food fest, freshers party, diwali party and many more.

Hostel Facilities

hostel fee is 1 lakh per year. no electrical appliances are allowed in the hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

seniors which we call them sir/maam. they are very cooperative as they are available for us whenever we need them. there are such softwares in which we need to take help of seniors.

Admission

As i already have a keen interest in design and sketching , i always wanted to do architecture course and to become an architect.Also, my parents also wanted me to do architecture so i got enrolled here as i have heard alot about this college from others and when i visited here, i found the college very fascinated.

Faculty

The best part of this college that i like the most is the faculty over here. they are very cooperative and their main focus is on those students who do not get understood the lecture. In every lecture , there must be 2 teachers.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. NEROLAC , TESA and many more companies have visited . Almost everyone got the placement. Highest package 8lakh and average of 5 lakh. 100% placement.. Firms opening.

Architecture life in WUD

Placement Experience:

From the 9th & 10th semesters, people get eligible for Placement. Big Architecture firms of Delhi come and hire us. Not at all a good package but else one has to file a report and show it to the jury of the final year. Every student gets placed. My plan is to study more after degree.

Since it is a design college, there are no campus placements. U have to make ur own contacts to approach the firms and companies to get placed. Good point is that the faculties are highly involved in the market, so they help with contacts.

Homely and Protected

Remarks:

Remarks: Essentially every Indian Parent's Dream College. Why? The following reasons: Basically a confinement area for college students where the only time you can leave the college without skipping classes is during the 6 PM - 9:30 PM time bracket, which much lesser for girls at 6 PM to 7:30 PM. No Non Vegetarian food entertained. Never. No short Dresses or any inappropriate dressing allowed for either genders. Strict attendance rules and substance/drinking/smoking control. Positive Remarks: All in all makes sense if you want your academics to be great and it serves the purpose. The faculty is good.

Admission:

I got admission on the basis of data and jee score. I came in June for the admissions and was given a round of the campus and hostel the campus is clean and very hygienic and people are helpful and teachers are motivating they keep pushing us to achieve our goals which I love about this college

Remarks:

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.
