EXPERIENCES IN THE COLLEGE

The college is nice but leaves are not allowed (usually maximum 4). Even in the case of medical reasons, attendance is not provided. the attendance is taken very seriously and if a lot of leaves are taken in a particular subject, the person might end up failing that subject (even for a medical reason).

The course curriculum is appropriate for architecture and also the exam structure is okay and not very stressful. The course is a bit bookish and theoretical and involves a little less fieldwork. The course is also a bit demanding since submissions for each subject are taken every day.

Placement of this college is good and a lot of companies know the name of our college. the students of our college are provided internship in eminent architecture practices.

Mural extracurricular activities take place every week which include writing skills, fine arts skills and performing skills. archventure which our college's fest, takes place every April which includes an array of competitions like designing etc. in this fest, various colleges from all over the country are invited and is mainly managed by the students of the college.

The fee of our college is relatively inexpensive than other colleges. The fee for the first year is 2 lakhs which includes 1 lakh academic fees and 1 lakh hostel fees. I am not aware of any scholarships or education loans are available as I have not opted for one myself.

The gender ratio of this college is not very skewed and I have personally not faced and gender discrimination or cultural discrimination. The students are very friendly and the faculty is very approachable. there is a fest which takes place every year in April called archventure. No student parties take place as such and the culturals are nice.

The fees of the hostel are 1 lakh per year. The hostel is nice and spacious. It has 2 and 3 seaters and one washroom are shared between one 2 seaters and one 3 seaters. The hostel also has rats which are quite unhygienic. The rooms are frequently cleaned.

The seniors are very friendly and approachable and readily help in case of queries regarding the curriculum.

Since I like sketching, I decided to opt for architecture as the course. I was recommended this college by a friend of my father's on reaching this college, the vibe and environment of the college were likeable and the admission process was fairly simple. I just had to provide my qualification certificates and give the admission fees.

The faculty of the college is nice and approachable. since most of the faculty live in the campus itself, most of them are available any time of the day.
