GATEWAY COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE

The college is very good. It is a very good experience at this college.

The course curriculum is good and the lectures are daily from 9 am to 6 pm with regular breaks. No homework is given and all the work is completed within college hours. The curriculum is relevant and is research-driven. It will build a habit of working 9 to 6 and we would not be facing difficulty in professional practice.

The placement is pretty good. Many well known architectural firms approach our college. Most of the students find internships easily.

Our college celebrates all the events and festivals. There are many more events which take place. A yearly fest also happens wherein students from other colleges visit. It is a 3-day event and is conducted by the student body. Every Wednesday an activity is conducted for students where they perform and interact.

The fees for the course are 50,000 per semester. Hostel fees are also 50,000 per semester. Other expenses include the cost of stationery which is higher than other courses. The hostel is compulsory for all students. Every year the college fees increase by 10%.

I am not eligible for any scholarships. I did not score very well. Scholarships are given to the topper only.

The campus life is very good. An almost an equal number of boys and girls are there. Grounds. Swimming pools. Not many extracurricular activities are held. But the campus is vast and spread in 30 acres. Regular site visits take place to provide exposure to the students.

The hostel is compulsory for all. The hostel is good. Clean. 4 students in each room. Common washrooms. The hostel is nice. There are grounds around the hostel. Laundry facility is available. All rooms are air-conditioned. All students live together.

The seniors are good. They interact nicely. And are always ready to help. They even help us learn new things.

I had to do architecture as I found it interesting from a young age. I came to college to see it with my parents. We liked it and talked to the management about the admission. They gave a form to be filled. I got the admission easily the same day.

The faculty of the college is good. All of them are well educated and knowledgeable. They guide us well and are very helpful in all ways. The faculty is also very dedicated. They also reside within the campus so we can reach out for them anytime we need.
