Dentistry unlike many other profession, is a growing sector. Even though the field is saturated,students who passes out from good colleges always can survive easily, same as medical field, Post graduation degree has become a must thing these days, in research point of view, we are in the fastest phase of dentistry, i guess. The connection between oral cavity symptoms and many major life threatening diseases has been found out and is an area of growing interest, 3D printing can be used for dentures, and using plenipotentiary cells found in pulp can be used to cure many deadly malignant diseases theoretically. We have three internal exams each year for each subject,also practical exams. we have 3,4,3,8 subjects respectively in the first,second,third and final year of the course. Adding to the lab works we have to do,second and final years are quite hectic with absolutely no time for anything else. Talking about exam days, most of them,like the exams which got over in my academic life was cool.

Placement is not a proper word for dental students. Dentistry is a field where we create our own opportunities, if u can work hard,and you have a fare amount of working brain,you can always win the race. However, the college provides internship with monthly stipend around 20,000.

We celebrate all kannada festivals in our college, we celebrate holi, diwali, ganesh chathurthi etc. All the students take part in all festivals and the festivals are celebrated with great pomp and show. Apart from the religious festivals, we have FRESHERS DAY, CULTURALS and other extra curricular programs, being a small college with 250 students we don't have an inter college fest.

Since it's the government college, the fee structure ought to be feasible. The fees are like every other government college in India. The fees are ? 65,980 per year. So for a total of 3 years its ? 197,940 which is extremely affordable. There are 9 streams provided., Oral Pathology And Microbiology | Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery | Orthodontics | Prosthodontics | Public Health Dentistry | Conservative Dentistry | Oral Medicine And Radiology | Periodontics | Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry.

The scholarships recognise merit and talent of students. Students may apply for the Scholarships at the beginning of the academic year. College may offer a scholarship to a deserving candidate under the following categories. College / University Merit Scholarships. Students belonging to the economically weaker sections may ask for fee concession (*depends on the college administrations). Merit cum means based scholarships are also awarded by the college to deserving students. Merit & National Scholarships for brilliant students under Central & State Govt.

Hostel rooms are good. Hostels are available for both boys and girls. They are pretty spacious, which is 3 sharing. The mess food provided is okayish. There is a decent cafeteria too which provides pretty good food. If someone wanted to stay alone or need a separate room or something they can opt PGs but Bangalore being a costly city, the PG's are quite expensive.

Yes the alumni network is quite good. The seniors are extremely good and helpful. Its difficult to get good marks in exams and practical without the help of seniors. The seniors are pretty cooperative in every aspect.

The college has a highly dedicated faculty. The college provides a good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty members who are well equipped with the modern technology. The teachers also put in a lot of efforts to cope the subject into the students mind. The teachers are also available all the time to clear the doubts of the students.
