Innovative college of Pharmacy, Greater Noida (B. Pharmacy course)

Innovative college of Pharmacy established in 5.75 acres. College has good infrastructure with library which has 8219 books, 1214 Titles, 15 Indian Journals and 8 International Journals. And also has online journals and newspaper in both Hindi and English. Animal House as per CPCSEA, Computer lab with 70 systems, pharmacy museum, herbal garden for practicals, Hostel for both Boys & Girls, cafeteria, etc.

Placements mainly depend on the candidates performance. If you don’t do well in academics you will have to suffer, as many of our seniors are unemployed. College do not have 100% placement but many companies come for placement drives they are Porteck, India Swift Pharma, Genpact, Cipla, Tirupati pharma, Yes Pharma, Next way pharma etc. Are college gives assistance for internship, but don't provide. Many industrial visits are organised by our college to give an exposure to our future workspaces.

Are College organizes a number of events every year. Our college give more emphasis to events such as pharmacist day, National seminar on pesticides and its impact, on clinical and pharmacy practice in India, hypertension, options of career ventures, industrial demand from pharmacy, etc. Events which are more useful for students in their education are more held.

In the college we have many extra-curricular activities. Candidates can participate in different extra-curricular activities available as per their taste. To name a few college organizes Annual Day, sports week, Rangoli competitions, quiz competition, etc. We have regular practical classes in the lab which are very good and equipped with modern equipments.

Hostel facilities are provided for girls, with capacity in the hostel to accommodate about 180 girls. Snacks breakfast lunch and dinner are healthy and are available at moderate rates. Common room are available for girls with good environment to study.

Alumni network of the college is not strong. College do not organize any alumni events. We get help from our seniors on notes and practicals. Most of the hostel students get benefited by seniors help.

I am studying B. Pharm in first year, I got admission on basis of my marks in entrance exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow. A candidate gets admission based on the marks secured in entrance exam. Candidate must secure atleast 50% in his 12th examination with physics, chemistry and any one subject maths/ biology or computer science. Every candidate who need admission has to register. Direct admission is also provided through management quota. The admission of D. Pharm is also same but the Joint entrance exam is conducted by Board of Technical Education Lucknow.

College has one of the best faculty in the country. With the ratio of 1:10, professors are highly qualified with some having the experience of over 30 years. Besides regular teaching professors guide the research projects of the institute as well.
