Remarks
Don't rely on placements. Gain knowledge and apply off campus. The packages are actually low and below your expectations always. If you really want to have a job no matter the salary then surely you will love the placement drive. It's a Roadies audition.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty tight. You come to know the basic of every field during your first year and if you were unsur about the course before you joined the college, you can change to other courses if you do well in your first year. Your specialisation starts from your Second year. I can say teachers actually taught us. The course was vast but it was always completed before the finals.
Internships Opportunities
The faculties will help you to get internships if you are unable to get one on your own. Usually internships are unpaid or without any stipend but if you are lucky enough you will get any paper publish if you really got into a good firm to work with.
Placement Experience
Placements are okey. Usually the companies are of marketing or sales. I would suggest to go for off campus along with appearing for on campus. It will broaden your spectrum. The Management students get a slightly higher package than Bachelor's.
College Events
There's Technorazz, the limelight of college. It's a fest of 3 days. There's fashion show, dances,dj night, cooking competition, treasure hunt, sudoko competition, etc. It's the best part of the year. People are really busy during those months.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's not that much expensive as per say. It's affordable. There was an increament of nearly 5-6 thousand per year but still it was affordable. Idk about the present fee structure but looking at the fee structure at that time, it was okey
Fees and Financial Aid
I was not aware of any scholarships or anything like that during my graduation. But loans are pretty easy to get as it is a deemed university on its on and one of the prominent in Rajasthan. The college provides a portfolio of expenses being spent point by point that can be used to have a loan for it.
Campus Life
Labs are okey. There is a small ground in 2 of the campus. Recently the medical campus has added a ground too. There's football, basketball, people play cricket. A bunch of extra curricular activities will keep you engaged during Technorazz.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure was okeyish. The rooms were spacious two seater or double seater. The food was bad in one of the campus and eatable in the other. I lived in one campus and had classes in the other. It was a hostel as it should be. Not good not bad.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors in your college are helpful. Passouts won't help you as they are busy in their own life. Notes, papers, where to apply and what not can be told by your immediate seniors. Just have a quite talk with them.
Exam Structure
It's common. You will have your mid sems and then your actual semester exams. In a semester there will be two mid semester exams whose average will make 30% of your total marks. Rest depends on your final semester exam. Practical exams are also there following similar pattern.
Admission
I appeared for an interview and there was a quick aptitude and basic science test which was online. Then I had my interview. After selection I had a tour of three campus and a quick meet with the teachers which were going to teach in the coming years. The procedure is actually simple.
Faculty
The faculty actually taught us. You will always have your best and worst teachers. It's the part of every college. Faculty was helpful. Faculties were always ready to clarify doubts, presentations were also done to make things crystal clear.
