Remarks

The college irritates the students for even a small matter. One student have a shortage in attendance for about .5% and for after that classes were held by the particular teacher and didn't gave attendance to that particular student and again he have to stay back for 2 extra classes to clear that attendance shortage. Also the principal was arguing with that student how do you got shortage in only one subject and it was not possible for him. He told the student to stay back for double extra classes than what he wanted to attend then only he will provide halltucket to him. This also shows the arrogance showed by the college to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The present curriculum is good.while taking about the practicals it's an average curriculum. But overall it is good and easy to understand, negotiating some 2 or 3 subjects. Like accounts is little bit tough for the who comes from a science background, and the nutrition subject may be a little tough for students from the other streams.

Placement Experience

4.5

This college is providing internship facilities to the students who requires it. The students have to struggle to find out the industries and their contact details, but definitely college faculties will help the students to get in an industry. Also placement programs are providing but only to the local industries, international or higher standard industries we can't find there.

College Events

2.5

Many events are celebrated in the college, some of them are 1>Onam. 2>Relish food festival. 3>Navrang intercollegiate fest. 4>Teachers day. 5>Excelso intercollegiate fest. These are the festivals that are celebrated in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was a little less when they started the course, that is when I joined. It was about 60000/- per year and in the second year Ith was 50000. First year also it was 50000 and as I was outsider they told me to pay 10000 extra. In the third year only for 6 months we have to pay 51000 and we students don't know why they increased so much. Now the fee structure is changed totally.

Fees and Financial Aid

College won't provide any type of loan, if we need a loan then we have to go to a bank which will provide an educational loan facility. Principal is such strict about the college fees and he won't allow to write the exams if we have fees pending to pay.

Campus Life

4

The labs and practical areas are good and well maintained. While coming to sports college provide a fully tarred ground and we can use it. The chance to get injured is more. And presently a very good teacher is available for training and such cases.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Milagres College is providing a hostel facility. The hostel facility is not that good. They have extreme rules and regulations in the hostel and they are not providing proper facilities and food also is not that good.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were very helpful. Sometimes small problems were there between students and overall it is a peaceful experience with the alumni and seniors. Some of them have a partiality between students and also creates problems.

Admission

I went to the college directly and asked the representatives about seat availability for that particular course. Seats were available, then I attended the interview and I enquired about the fees structure. In the end I got an admission in my college.

Faculty

4

College faculties are good. Almost everyone is very friendly and helpful. Except some teachers who have a little more concern about the students who are from a rich background. Also they show partiality between local students and outsiders.

Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.
