I took CAT and scored 82 percentile. I had options from few other colleges based out of metros but I went ahead to choose XIDAS because of the Xavier brand it has.

Course curriculum involved industry relevant courses under each specialization. I chose HR as my area of specialization. Courses that I did were - Industrial Psychology, OD, Performance Management, Training & Development, etc. Similarly in other specializations like Marketing and Finance there were courses as per the industry requirements.

I did my internship at HAL in HR department. Internship experience was good, I got a lot of guidance both from my faculty and Industry supervisor. College regularly keeps in touch with the student during the internship. Since, my internship was in a PSU, I did not receive any stipend, my batchmates however got some scholarship in the range of 10-12 K per month.

Out of a batch size of 60 close to 40 were placed in the batch that I graduated which was the first batch of PGDM. Private sector banks, pharma companies and some development agencies came for the placements. Average package was 3.5 L then.

College has started its Annual Management cum Cultural Event by the name HENOSIS, Lot of cultural events find place in the Calendar, also there are several activity clubs and committees which keep on organizing events at regular events.

Fee structure is still very feasible. If compared with other schools in the similar category it is a value for money. Total programme fee would be under 7 Lac for two years.

Two scholarships for Two Programmes: PGDM and PGDRM both are merit cum means based. A total of close to 50 lacs are the fund for scholarships.

Campus life is excellent, healthy gender ratio, lot of buzz in the campus. Students define the campus life full of healthy all round competition in sports, culture, academics, etc.

Hostels are big, have enough rooms, there are options of taking a single, double or triple seater room. Hostels are Wifi, clean and have all the basic amenities, Mess is contracted out and prepare good food.

Alumni network is strong. Regular alumni meets and forums are happening to harness the knowledge with the alumni. Interactive alumni forum who help in development of the institute.

Since the institute follows continuous evaluation. You can expect surprise quizes, presentations, tests, etc. This is exciting and mandatory for a B-School.

A lot of faculty from B-Schools of repute used to visit and take full courses. Also, inhouse faculty very good. Faculty strength was also good a healthy Faculty Student ration of 10:1 was maintained.
