Remarks

The college is quite good and fees structure is feasible . The positive things about college were like the certificate from the college which we get after passing out has a good value as the college is one of the top college in Odisha and negatives are like there are lot of things to improve it should improve its teaching quality and educational standards.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course circulum was mostly on accounts and finance based subjects. The exam structure was we use to have six semesters for 3 years . Each year 2 semesters and we use to have internals before semesters .

Placement Experience

2

The placements for campus are not that good but trying for jobs outside the campus was better but it depends on us how we present ourselves . The internship process is not that good as it doesn’t provide internship for students .

College Events

3

There were many events celebrated i our college like there were annual functions every year and there will be freshers day , teachers day and Saraswati puja and Ganesh puja . The funds will be collected by students for some functions and some will be done by college itself

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure in this college is feasible as it is a government college and There will be semester fees The fees structure here is very feasible . The fees should be paid in instalments and it is less .

Fees and Financial Aid

No nothing like that as I passed out from the college there is no communication between us . We can go to college as old alumni students but there is no scholarships and loans availed for us . There is no such thing in that college .

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities were quite good as there were lot of sports and there were lot of competitions to participate. There were good opportunities to showcase you talent and college was bit supportive to extracurricular activities .

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network as we are once passed out from the college we don’t have any communication between college and we are not going to have any connection between seniors as once they pass out no one is going to communicate back .

Admission

At first you have to score minimum cut off marks in intermediate to get into the college . There will be cut off marks set by the college which changes every year. After getting enough marks you have to go through the admission process like you have to apply application for the college then after you will get a call if you are eligible then there will be continuous process of paying fees and admission Is done

Faculty

3

The process of teaching is good but teachers are not regular to classes the way they teach was good not all teachers but few teachers were not regular to classes . The process of teaching was not having a quality of time .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. A student who consistently studies can score well without extreme pressure. However, there is a lack of practical exposure such as industry visits, internships or real-world business case studies. Also, subjects related to modern digital business trends like data analytics, advanced Excel, and GST practicals should be included to make students more job-ready. Overall, the curriculum is relevant but needs more updates to match the current professional requirements

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
