Remarks

There are many ups and downs the two main positive points of college are the affordable fee structure and the placement program. And there is a long list of negative points but most major point is about the college life of students, it should be upgraded to a standard where students really feel they are living a college life because speaking of current situation I feel like I am still studying in a school.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is fine because we study the same course which is taught all over India. But the exam structure is very poor, students have to suffer a lot due to problems regarding results, fair checking of exam answer sheets and lot more.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes there are the placement and job opportunities. This the only part about which I feel good for my college because even though there are not many companies which comes to our college but surely it is more than any other college in the state. Mostly the companies are of CS and IT sector and some companies with sale profiles. No companies for other core branches that's where we have to settle.

College Events

3.5

Only few events are celebrated in our college. One of biggest event is college fest vyom and that too is not celebrated in the manner in which it should be. It is very dull because college management do not want to spend on such events even though it is very important for any college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The second best thing about our college is its fee structure. It's really less than colleges of other states which I am thankful of. Currently the fee structure is different for different semesters ranges between 34000 to 40000

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are some scholarship programs offered by college for the students categoried on the basis of caste. Only for the OBC, ST AND SC castes and their are some rules regulations to follow and some limitations on the yearly income of the family to apply for this scholarship programs.

Campus Life

2.5

There are various extracurricular activities held in our college every Saturday. And the labs are performed ongoing with semester courses. Sports events are held at college level at a particular time of year. Yse they are not of the level which it should be but atleast students get opportunities to showcase their skills and have a fun time with friends.

Alumni/Alumna

I am very thankful of my all the seniors because they are the only mentors outside the class who guides us how to live in a college campus life and how to tackle the problems weather it is regarding to academics or health or money or any other kind of problems because they have been through this all. So once again I am very thankful to our seniors for all their support and love.

Admission

I got admission through entrance exam. The name of exam is PET (Pre Engineering Test). Then further procedure counselling is held in which you are provided with particular college and branch on the basis on your score or rank in the test.

Faculty

3

There are not enough faculties for all the courses and subjects but somehow the college manages. Currently there are more of the new and fresh faculties. Faculties are good they always try to give their 100%.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
