St Aloysius Manglore

It is an anciently situated college with experienced faculties. My remarks are only positive because I have inhaled postive vibes from the college until now. The college is famous since 140 years . It is one of the best college since then. The college is also situated in the heart of the city of mangaluru. It is located near the tagore park at the lightHouse hill road. The main positive remark is that the atmosphere that we get in the college. It is truly amazing.

Very good atmosphere to study . It is one of the biggest colleges in mangalore. It is the best college for degree studies in mangalore. Its well equipped and clean . Got the rank of 1st in cleanliness. The exam structure is sem based . Each sem takes 6 months to complete. We have 3 years in total where we will have to attempt 6 semester examinations. Valuation is very strict in the college.

The placement opportunities in our college is far better than many other colleges around. Many Officials from different companies comes to our college to take up the interview and they provide job opportunities for the brilliant students right after the completion of their course. The college also provides best internships while we are on the vacation during sem break. They give us the opportunity to intern inside as well as outside the country.

Talking about the events and celebrations , our college is the best in town. Because we have a lot of events celebrated. All the relegious events are also celebrated here regarding the relegious harmony of the college. Many events are conducted inorder to showcase the talents of the students in our college. It is imporant for us to be good in co curricular activites , so they conduct weekly activities under different associations. There are 25 associations namely sports,language,dance,drama,music,hertage etc.

The fee that we pay here is not that expensive. Considering the fee we pay for other colleges in mangaluru, the ones we pay here is comparatively lower and it is worthy enough. The fees i paid is 36700 for the first year as well as for the second year. It is worth actually.

There are a lot of scholarship facilities and loan facility given for students. There are a lot of scholarship schemes made available for the minority students. There is also scholarships for merits. I have availed the arivu loan that is given for the minority students. I have got 20000 rs last month from it.

The lab facilities are so good. There are laboratories and research units for different departments. There is sports department which is an apex unit of the college. The sports department plays a vital role in bringing out the talents of the students who are good in sports. They send teams for public tournaments and regularly win the tournaments(independence trophy, christ university tournament, republic cup, mangalore university inter collegiate cup) etc.

I didn’t opt for hostel but as i have heard from friends that the hostel vibes are so good. The food facilites are also fine enough. The infrastructure and the hostel facilities are amazing. The warden is friendly with them and helps them whenever in need. They are like a family. The warden takes care of all the maintenance works.

As i have heard , our college has got a very good line of alumni . Many business persons , sports person have all done their graduation in our college. KL rahul , the indian cricketer was a student of st aloysius. And many other great personalities studied in our college. The support from senior students are so great because they treat us just like their own brothers and sisters. They support us during all our thick and thins.

By Influence as well as Merit Was firstly submitted the marks card then submitted all the certificates of extracurricular activites then called for interview . They asked about my interest and the reason why i joined their college. Then i got selected.

The faculty is very good and very resourceful. They help us in all our ups and downs. They are well qualified and experienced ones. They really mould the students for their better future. They even stays extra hours in college inorder to help the weak students to pass the examination.
