As a student start it's College life they need to study themselves it's not school the cultures very free so, spend your time carefully and do what matters the most for your career. Teachers will only focus on you if you want to study.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCA consists of all necessary subjects that are need to be known by a person who's going to study IT. It prepares the student to compete the current era, it could easily lent you a basic computer job. There was semester system so the exams held for each semester every six months.
Placement Experience
My College didn't have any placement cell for BCA students. There are placement cells available for other departments such as BBA, BVoc and many others. Some courses provide internships and industrial training.
College Events
As the college is a government district college so it celebrates all the festival and events.College celebrates Independence Day , Annual function and many functions.College organizes various debates on different topics to give students a chance and explore themselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible as it's a government institute.The fee is not much as students get lot of benefits such as some lease in fee for minority people.Even for private courses the fee reaches upto 20k per year which is not that much expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
All the government scholarships are available like for minority people. There are many government schemes for bright students. They can get many scholarships. I don't think there is any loan facility available by the college.
Campus Life
As this is Himachal Pradesh oldest college it has good sports faculty.The main building was given to IIT Mandi before but now it's used by the college so there's lot of facilities provided by College clean labs , sports room.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students help students if we ask them to nobody give the helping hand. College arranges many discussion events where people can collaborate and get the guidance of their seniors and respected mentors.
Admission
There are two categories of seats subsidized and non-subsidized. I gave an entrance exam and got selected for subsidized seats on merit basis. There are 60 seats in total and non-subsidized seats are given on merit basis while subsidized on entrance exam.
Faculty
The faculty was very supportive but a student needs to have curiosity to learn. As teachers not gonna make us grasp like school. The faculty is knowledgeable and have great teachers. They teach very well.
