Entrance Preview

I wrote EAMCET for engineering streami got rank around 90k, as vsm college of engg is near our locality i chose this college as my health was so so at that time and i feared going long distance due to my health issuesmoreover our college is reputed college in/around our locality.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regarding this aspect its just okay because almost all of our lecturers are less experienced i.e 3-5 years which is less in a b.tech(engineering) college and practicality isn't that good when compared to engg colleges in our state.

Internships Opportunities

As our locality is non-metro no companies came for internships in our college but we do have regular workshops and we went to internships in bsnl, vizag steel plant and planning to do more.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in college, i.e they bring many mnc's such as wipro IT plexustech, Mahindra, Infosys, TCS and on so on. And about 80% members gets jobs every year.

In our branch yearly our college management conducts two major events regarding technical background and we do launch a magazine annually on behalf of our branch another event is a techfest in which we do some mini-projects and display them for two days.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a o.c candidate and i dont have any reservation, so i dont get any scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college campus is largewe all are treated equally in our campus, there isn't any type of gender discrimination and no religion basis divisionwe do have some very good labs with almost all necessary equipments, We do have some extracurricular activities every saturday afternoon.

Hostel Facilities

We do have a small hostel with good facilities and fees is also too low which is normally 25k to 30k per annum. Food quality is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very interactive with us and they do share with us a lot of knowledge.

Up's and Downs of VSM

I had selected this college for nearly distance.I am very lazy in morning timings.So that's why I had chosen this college.My college distance is like only 20-30mins with comparing to remaining college.There is main thing about our is anti ragging college.But the remaining colleges are having ragging issues.
