Remarks

The college has good patient flow with great faculty members and exploring devices and instruments and materials.the negativity is there is over pressure on students and no holidays given.hostelites find it difficult.tje workload is comparatively more which makes us think that there is no family time

Best curriculum to provide high knowledge for students.had extra subjects apart from allocated curriculum by dental council.and periodic tests for assessment and yearly semesters and good patient flow for proper training and guidance

Placements are good.recognition was at best.job opportunities were good and give first preference on recruitment process college has one year of internship.stipend is not available as it is a private college

College Events

Only cultural activities are performed once in a year by students.activities and investment are purely on students.coordination and support from faculty was good and helpful.festival related celebrations are done occassionly.

Fee Structure is feasible without capitation.2 lakhs 50 thousands have to be paid per annum.exam fees are separate and collected on yearly basis.tution fees and instruments and book charges are separate.

I did not available any loan or scholarship so far in 5 years.but they don provide scholarship as long as I know.tjey have loan facility which has to be coordinated between college office and bank person.

They have sports gym as extracurricular activity.lab facilities are available for academic purposes only.play ground is available and can be used.sports equipments are available.few indoor games are also available

Alumni network is available.the communication is through mail and social media.every year alumni meet is organized by the representative of the batch on coordination with College alumni committee at college premises.

Collected application form ;filled and submitted with mark sheets.later received hall ticket for entrance exam and attended entrance exam.on correlating 12th marks with entrance results admission was booked

A little sneak peek into my life in college: Trying my best to survive

Course Curriculum Overview:

.I honestly am not very interested in the course and still trying to adapt to it .The course would either lead you to the path of MDS in several departments and thereafter a Phd or simply a BDS degree would also make you a dentist. . The course needs more simplification and easy to understand books, easy to understand lectures and easy to follow practical work to get a knack of it. . Internal assessments are held almost once in every 2.5 to 3 months and a year end university examination that includes theory and practical exam that requires students to pass in order to be promoted to the next year. . Anatomy, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Pharmacology are the hardest. Physiology, Microbiology and Oral pathology and Histology are the easiest.

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

My Honest Review of College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum in the first year is quite good and gives a strong base . Subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are detailed and help us understand the basics needed for later years . Curriculum helps us to improve skills through labs and dissection . Exams happens regularly- we have internal assessments every months , class tests, slip tests, practicals and university exam. The frequency is fine , but the difficulty depends on the preparation . The one year compulsory internship with stipend is also very helpful in moulding us as a great dentist . Overall , the curriculum does a great job in laying down the foundation . Because of the high patient flow our hand skills will also become improve. So it helps in professional growth .

The real review of SDC ??????

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month

Saveetha Dental college was my first dream college and I also got into it! I really chose the college because it is ranked the No.1 dental college in India and holds and SCIMAGO rank of no.1 and the World WS ranking is no.18 . The college has a great infrastructure and we do the things at 1st years that only a student of 3rd year does in other colleges! And I don't think many colleges teach them digital designing! Something that this college does teaches! And the labs and fantastic! They are completely since aesthetic and all lab and classrooms are AC conditioned. For joining saveetha dental college you need register through TNMC counselling and choose this college as your first option to join! The cut offs here vary according the the AIR NEET ranks...but mostly you can get admission here if you score around 120-300/750 as well....Read More
