Remarks

My college is best and also it is a renowned college in Odisha. Also it is one of the most ancient college in odisha from the British rule. I love my college very much. I miss my college, class room, library, playground.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course was choice based credits system method. Following 12 internals and 6 semesters in the 3 years due period. Which was fully new structure to both faculty and students. Anyway it was mangible.

College Events

We celebrated following occasions Teachers day, Welcome ceremony, Farewell ceremony, National seminars, Indipendence day, Republic day, Gandhi jayanti, Annual sports day, Annual function, Ganesh puja, Saraswatipuja etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, as it is a government autonomous college so all the fees are determined by the higher education department of odisha. So the fees structure is feasible. No extra fees are collected from students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I hadn't avail the loan facility. I have maintain the fees by doing home tusions. But there is a branch of UCO bank which provide the loans facility. Student can easily avail the facility by the branch in the campus.

Campus Life

I have attained all the labs. There is enough instruments in the lab and also demonstrator on our lab. Also college have a big playground and also a lot of instruments in our sports room. We also serve help through the ncc and souts.

Alumni/Alumna

I have no contact withe team. But according to my knowledge all the alumni members are good and helpful. They can help at any instance. They provide the financial help to the poor student through the alumni fund.

Admission

Read the advertisement of addmission. Then went to the netcafe. Then Applied the form through the DHE, ODISHA website with requisite documents and paid the fees. Then found my name in merit list and got admitted.

Faculty

All the facilities are friendly, helpful. They helped during the study period and also after that. They motivated us to think better and do better to get better. They are all highly educated and also highly experienced.

Likes

Good faculties and good teachers amd teaching quality is also good
The quality of the infrastructure is also good by the government
The college also make various job and seminar program

Dislikes

There are many guest faculties are there. It should change to permanent faculties.

This is a government affiliated college and i have a dream for this collage as its a good college and its very near form our home. Thr college also conduct many seminars and many curriculum activities also.

Fees is so affordable, & the faculties are top class
College NCC is one of the best in city, there are so many programs going on
The college sports facilities are good. Have a professional football ground

Dislikes

Main building is too short and the campus is small
No gardens there and the college canteen is horrible sometimes
Behaviour of college canteen owner is so bad towards the students

Placement Experience:

The college os good and every year there are companies who visit the college for recruitment and they recruite maximum students from our college and the placement rate of college is more than 80 percent in every course

Likes

The well matintained Campus with many attractive classrooms and a greeny environment with best communication and transportation. It also provides the best Library .
Highly experienced faculties who provides creative , innovative and practical knowledge with being friendly and patiencely.
The hostel facilities are highly demanding with excellent infrastructure ,cleaniness and the hygenic surrounding with favolus food.

Dislikes

The college area is being always overcrowded and noisy during the day time.
The traffic area outside the main entrance of the university is not upto the mark.
No vehicle is available for the college students to travel easily.

Placement Experience:

Honestly , I dont have specific knowledge about the placements as I was a BA student . But yes I have heard from my mates about the placements with well known comanies and by providing an adequate amount of packages.

My Experience as UG student at SCS Autonomous College, Puri, Odisha

My first preference was SCS but since the system makes you add other colleges so I had also applied to Government Women's College and Private Women's College. Since my I got into my first preferred college, the admission to other colleges got cancelled automatically. So I didn't have any other choice left. I applied to Rourkela Government college but I choose this college because it has better faculty and more focused academic life.
