Its a very interesting course

The Excel college is approved by the council of architecture. I have pursued my Masters in Architecture from the college. From academic purpose it’s a good college, not so good in terms of placement and campus life.

The Excel College of Architecture and Planning is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. The course is as per the University norms. The program is designed in a manner to identify social, economical, environmental, and cultural issues that have bearing on the Architectural Design Process. During our third semester we have to prepare a dissertation, while in the fourth sem we have to submit the thesis.

The college don’t provide any placement opportunities whatsoever. We made our own arrangements for the purpose of project report.

At Excel College equal importance was given to extracurricular activities like sports competitions, drawing competitions, annual day celebrations etc.

The only scholarship you can entertain are the one offered by the state government. There are no other scholarship options apart from that.

The campus area of Excel College is 100 acres. It has Construction yard with 5000 sq ft area, art studio, Design Studio, material museum, Cad lab with 100 highly configured and latest systems.

My admission in the M. Arch program was on the basis of my B.Arch marks.

The faculty at Excel College have a minimum experience of 6 years with them. This made their valuable insight an integral part of the teaching. We got the necessary exposure from the incidents (experiences) they shared.
