Remarks

The quality of education which they are providing is excellent and has a good curriculum to offer. Infrastructure is also satisfying. Every teacher is an expert in his/her respective fields. They need to work on placement assistance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was updated one with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as our compulsory subjects and we had one language subject every year. Final exams were conducted on a yearly basis. As the two subjects involved practical work, we had big labs nicely equipped with apparatus to give us hands-on experience for our theoretical knowledge. The curriculum and structure led to my holistic development in the field.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement assistance of my college was not that much good. We were given a chance to sit in the placement process of some companies with BCA students but it did not prove beneficial for our department. No internship options were there.

College Events

4

Various events and fests were organized differently departments of our college. Tech fest was taken care of by the BCA department. The cultural fest was conducted by the Arts detriment. The students of our college also participated in Youth Festival which had various competitions like debate, calligraphy, creative writing, art and craft, folk dance and singing. Our college actively gave numerous chances to its students to showcase their talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The bachelor of science(non-medical) course had an annual fee of 12k per year excluding some extra charges of lab, magazine, etc. We had to give this amount in 2 installments after every 6 months. This fee is different for every course and every department depending upon the usage of labs, other facilities, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail of any scholarship options or education loans as they did not give any. All students had to give full fee irrespective of their grades in their 10th and 12th.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus was fully equipped with everything which a student needs for their learning process. It is a girl's college and students come from various educational backgrounds and interests. Ludhiana, being one of the famous cities of Punjab, attracted students from various nearby villages. The college focuses on the overall development of a child by including extracurricular activities in its curriculum which are being conducted every month.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a great alumni network all over Punjab which adds to the experience of every individual differently. I had a very nice batch of my seniors who were always ready to help and motivate.

Admission

I got admission into this college on the basis of my 10th and 12th marks. There was a specific cutoff to get into the admission process. This is a renowned college in Ludhiana and I heard from one of my relatives about the quality of education which they were providing and their effective curriculum.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of my college was very dedicated and passionate about their duty. Each and every teacher had a good command on their respective subject. They were well versed in the innovations and updates of their subjects. As the curriculum was student-centered, teachers always tried their best to explain a particular concept to students until it gets imbibed in their minds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty, their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

I choose this course because I wanted to do higher studies in Physics and then I want to work in ISRO as a scientist. Faculty:student ratio is 1:15 Professors and Staff members as highly qualified. They are very supportive. Always ready to help students. Semester exams are little bit difficult but can be passed easily if you have done hard work during the semester.
