College A Best place to learn life

I feel like it will be the best place for a student from 12th standard who has no exposure to the outside environment to know more about what is happening around the world. Students will come to know both good and bad at level of input and decide which is required for their future.

My Curriculum might give the feel like it is outdated initially. But when you look on it keenly, It will lay the platform of the basics required for the core industry. Exam Structure will be like 8 semesters for the entire course with each each semester having 6 Theory papers and 3 Practical papers except in the 8th semester where we have only 3 Theory papers and no Practical paper. At the end of the course (i.e) We need to do a project as a team based on our learning on the past 4 years which will be useful for the world.

Placements are good compared to other colleges in Chennai. When i was in my Final year of the course, Around 150+ companies visited the college on total for all the branches in the college. When considered for my course, around 6-7 companies from core industry came for placements like Bosch, EmbedUR, Sossaley technologies etc. And also 12-15 companies came from IT industry like TCS, Cognizant, LTI, Wipro etc. No, my college does not provide any opportunity for internship from their side. But provide the support from their side like providing the necessary documents required for the internship in the company. I have went internship for around 3 companies which I got permissions through my efforts with the necessary help from the College side.

The College is famous for the number of clubs and events organised inside and outside the college premises. There are many Clubs like NSS, NCC, Rotaract, YRC, Energy Club, Ishrae, SME, SAE, SEEE, SECE which are formed from entire college. Apart from these there in a club VULCAN which is the official club of the college to the organise the fresher's day event name ''SWAGAT" and the Inter college competition "TALENTIA" on every year with winners as the overall performance of the individual departments of the college on various events.

Fees Structure will be above average than other colleges. Fees seems to slightly expensive. The reason of the fees may the location of the college inside the city in a prime spot where you can travel to any part of the city. The number of companies visiting for the company every year and the placement training provided by the institution from first year onwards will seems to be worth for the fees paid.

College does not Offer for any scholarship. But provide the necessary help from the bank to get the Loan for the students who are in need of it. The college will help the student personally at some times for getting the loan from the bank by coming in person and meeting the bank manager regarding the help for the student.

Extra-Curricular activities present in the college are Cricket, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Kabadi, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom and Kho-Kho. The NSS club of the college organises a 1 week camp every year by adopting a village in outer part of the city and providing the basic necessities required for the village along with educating all those people with the necessary ideologies needed for all citizens.

All students who completed their graduation will be directly enrolled into the Alumni Network and will be communicated in mail with the current happenings in the college every week through mail of the activities conducted in the department in the past week along with the pictures and co-ordinators of the event and the participants who enrolled in the event.

I got admission management quota. I got good cutoff in my 12th standard. I missed the college in Anna University Counselling by 0.5 mark. So, It is easy for me getting the admission in management quota

Faculty are good with good experience in theory and also in practical knowledge. There are around 4 doctorates and 4 faculty who are pursuing their doctorates. Apart from that there are 15 post graduate faculty who got their post graduation in various domains of the Electrical and Electronics field.
