While both institutes are equally good, placements are much better established with ITM University Sithouli campus. Students can also contemplate the fee structure before applying to either institute.

Hearing about Vignan University from one of my friends. I can say that his overall experience there was not that good. Here are some of the reasons why:

• The students aren’t treated well and caste discrimination is everywhere around the campus. 
• Many students have witnessed that the chairman of the college himself is into such practices. 
• There are strict rules that have to be followed by the students. 
• If the students fail to attend the class during the study hours, their attendance will be cut without any prior notice. 
• No extracurricular activities take place in the college.
• Sometimes students get indulged in bad habits such as gamblings. 
• The college will keep on charging high amounts in the form of fees and they charge different amounts from different students. 
• The placement opportunities are also not good.

Thus, it is advised that don’t choose this college as it will only waste your valuable time and money. Keep looking at other colleges which are better than Vignan University. 

Sharda University and Dronacharya College of Engineering have both been established around the same time and while Sharda University is approved by UGC, Dronacharya College of Engineering is AICTE approved. B.Tech. programs, especially CS, is one of the most demanded courses at these institutions.

Major job sectors for CS graduates include Engineering firms, academic institutions, Sales and Marketing firms, IT/Software Companies, etc. Graduates work as Software engineers, application developers, hardware engineers, and many more.

• Sharda University: 80% of students were placed overall. The highest salary package received is INR 65 LPA. 350+ recruiters, like Amazon, Videocon, Asian Paints, L&T, etc, recruit graduates from the university.

• Dronacharya College: Approximately 66% of students were placed in companies such as OYO, TCS, Zscaler, Capgemini, Wipro, Adobe, L&T, HSBC, UrbanClap, etc. The highest package offered to CS graduates was INR 10 LPA.

Those interested must thoroughly research and learn about both the institutes and then arrive at an informed decision as to which one will be the best for them. It depends on one’s academic merit and disposition and is a completely personal choice.

Yes, IIIT Lucknow has a better package for CS and IT students than IIIT Allahabad and IIIT H. However, it will not give you a guarantee that you will get placed after completing your studies from IIIT Lucknow.
