Universal Business School (UBS) is truly amazing and has a global feel. If you're looking to make a big change in your life, this is the place to be. I'm in my first year of the Cardiff BBA program at UBS in Mumbai.
As I wrap up my first year here, I've seen how much value UBS adds. The faculty is top-notch and always there to help us. UBS's motto is "Changing Lives," and it definitely lives up to that. The school offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders who frequently visit to share their insights. It's the first green business school, backed by 60 CEOs, focusing on experiential learning. This approach gives us a better understanding of business and different areas within it. The professors are excellent, with many having corporate backgrounds and real-world experience.
UBS offers several international programs and partners with other universities like Cardiff Metropolitan and the Swiss School of Management. To ensure we grow in every way, UBS has various clubs that help us develop leadership skills. I've grown a lot personally, and it's noticeable. As the current Vice President of the UBS Sports Club, I've discovered my passion and improved my skills. The clubs organize activities to boost student skills, and there's a sports session after classes to keep us both mentally and physically healthy. We also engage in CSR activities regularly, keeping in mind our societal responsibilities.
At UBS, we also have a student-run private company called Experiential Learning Corporation, where I’m the Team Leader in the Marketing department.

Universal Business School is really good at giving students a lot of global exposure. They really push students to join in b-school competitions and even offer rewards from the Dean to those who win big ones. UBS has connections with top international business schools and offers student exchange programs. PGDM students have a chance to get a full scholarship to study at the University of Economics Varna in Bulgaria, Europe. I was lucky to be one of the two students who got this scholarship, and it was an amazing experience.
The school works with many foreign universities to constantly update their course content. There's also an exchange program with Cardiff Metropolitan University, which two students took advantage of this year. They even bring professors from these universities to teach for a whole trimester on campus.
Every year, UBS hosts multiple industry interaction events, such as international ones in Singapore, although that was canceled due to COVID-19. These events feature seminars on the latest industry trends, focusing on current happenings and future possibilities in the business world. Interestingly, some of the improvements in college have come from student suggestions.
I'm currently doing my MBA at Universal Business School in Karjat, and I'm in my seventh month. I've had the chance to work with a US company called Smith & Nephew. Besides that, I've completed over four projects.
UBS focuses not just on classroom lessons but also emphasizes hands-on learning. The 50-hour case study, the Earn While You Learn program, and the adventure fest called RUSH 4 RUSH make college life some of the most memorable times.
As a first-year BBA student at Universal Business School, I can say my experience has been amazing. The campus is set in a beautiful spot with lots of greenery, valleys, and waterfalls, making it a great place to learn. The teachers are top-notch, which just adds to the whole experience.
The campus itself is impressive and the international education system offers a lot of exposure. The college arranges internships at every step of the degree, giving you a real-world feel and making learning hands-on. I highly suggest anyone considering a BBA to think about UBS, as it's an experience you won't find elsewhere. I hope everyone finds their undergrad years as memorable as mine have been so far.
Universal Business School in Karjat is known for shaping future CEOs and is India's first environmentally-friendly business school. Supported by 60 CEOs, the school emphasizes learning through real-world experiences.
Students here participate in various practical activities like Experiential Learning Week, Ethicon, and Night Workshops. The school hosts a CEO Series where leading business figures share their insights and experiences.
There's also a cool event like the Thomson Reuters one where students get to play with virtual money to learn about investing. UBS is all about changing lives, and I'm really glad to be part of it.
