As an alumnus of KJSCE, I can only tell you about my college. I do not know anything regarding VIT Pune. 

Here is all you can expect from KJSCE-

• Crowd- The college crowd is very lively, and the students take interest in various activities apart from their engineering studies. These include music, art, sports, tech, etc.

• Faculty- The college faculty is quite friendly and supportive.

• Learning Environment- KJSCE has a rich learning environment. All the support from faculty members and peers, and all the college resources are made available for a good project idea. 

• Campus- The college campus is beautiful. The Football, Volleyball and Cricket grounds are huge in size.

• Events and Fests- The college tech fest- Abhiyantriki, and cultural fest- Symphony are a lot of fun. Lots of other events take place on campus.

• Extracurriculars- Students of KJSCE regularly participate in Dance, Sports, Music and other extracurriculars. 

• Placements- Apart from mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture, companies like Barclays, Rakuten, Morgan Stanley, etc. visit the campus for placements.

KJSCE is a decent college for your engineering studies. In the end, your hard work and dedication matters the most. 

GIM, FORE, KJ Somaiya, and SIBM Bangalore offer 100% placement support to the students. It is a bit grim to figure out the lowest packages as they do not provide exact information. In fact, none of the colleges could guarantee a job from their side; instead, they could assure plenty of opportunities. The aptitude, capacity, and performance in the interview play a chief role.

Many giant recruiters approach the college every year, and most of the applicants get placement in the first half of the academic year. But if you ask me, if you have calls from any of the IIMs, just join them without a doubt. TAPMI and KJ Somaiya are well-established B-schools with a strong reputation for academic rigor and industry connections. They have a well-developed curriculum over a long history of the institute, faculty with extensive industry experience, and a large network of alumni who can help with job placements and career opportunities.

If you are deciding between these institutions, you should consider factors such as location,cost, faculty, industry connections, and curriculum. Consider your own career goals and whether each institution can help you achieve them.

IT from KJ Somaiya is the better option. Since it is an autonomous college, you will get several benefits like - 

• At KJ Somaiya, some electives and inter-disciplinary courses are introduced from the 3rd year onwards. So, you can easily get a grip on the subjects. You won’t find much difference between the IT syllabus of KJ Somaiya and the CS syllabus of Vivekanand. 
• KJ Somaiya has its own start-up incubation cell. It is known as RiiDL. If you have a great project or startup idea, and you can manage to convince RiiDL, of the potential of your idea, you can get ample funding and resources. The institute also has an entrepreneurship-promoting body, BloomBox. If you have any start-up ideas, you can get their help regarding contacts and resources.
• KJ Somaiya placements are biased towards IT and COMPS. Around 90% of students get placed in IT and CSE courses each year with an average CTC of INR 6 LPA.

These are the reasons that make KJ Somaiya a better option. 

On the basis of quality and quantity of companies visiting for placements: TAPMI, KJ Somaiya, Great Lakes Chennai> BIM Trichy> LIBA

On the basis of location KJ Somaiya> Great Lakes Chennai> TAPMI> BIM Trichy >LIBA purely on the basis of location.

One can decide on the basis of their preference.

KJSIEIT's campus is excellent. The faculty is extremely helpful. You must maintain a high level of academic performance throughout your career. Attendance should be kept at around 75%, and if you have a genuine medical condition, it should be at least 65%. There are numerous technical committees, including IET, IEEE, IETE, CSI, and others. There are numerous cultural and sporting events. 

In terms of IT in KJSIEIT, it has a separate building that is amazing in comparison to the main building, and from a job perspective, if your skills are good, you can easily get a very good package, but you must be good at coding. More than 45 companies have visited our campus.
