I would say D J Sanghvi has a higher ranking compared to SPIT based on my experience with the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. The placements are really good, with companies like JP Morgan and Chase offering decent packages. Last year, the highest package was around 35 LPA, and the average package is about 11 LPA. The faculty is well-qualified, and the college has great infrastructure as well. Overall, I believe D J Sanghvi stands out in terms of both placement opportunities and faculty support.
From my perspective as a student in Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology at D J Sanghvi, I can confidently say it ranks higher than SPIT. The campus placements here are impressive, with about 99.9% of students getting placed. Companies like Amazon and JP Morgan come for recruitment, and the average package is around 12-13 LPA. The faculty is supportive, and the curriculum is well-structured, which makes the overall learning experience quite enriching.
S.P.I.T all the way!
I'm a teacher here and I also did my Masters at this college. If you're aiming for Engineering, S.P.I.T should definitely be on your list. It's one of the top colleges in Mumbai, and the placement rate is 100%. The average salary package is between 6 to 6.5 lakhs. Some of the big companies that hire from here include Barclays, Microsoft, Capgemini, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, L&T, Credit Suisse, Zycus, and TCS.
The college offers internships and has an incubation center on the 8th floor for start-ups. The teaching staff is top-notch compared to other colleges in Mumbai. I can say this confidently because I've been connected with several in the past, and I was also an M.E student here.
The student community is fantastic. If you’re into both academics and extracurricular activities, you'll have a great time here over four years. You’ll learn a lot, trust me.
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology was given Autonomous Status by the University of Mumbai from 2017-18 to 2021-22. It was also ranked in the 101-150 band by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2018), Government of India.
I think these points make S.P.I.T the clear choice!
Based on my time in Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at D J Sanghvi, I feel it has a better ranking than SPIT. The college boasts 100% placement, and the highest package can go up to 56 LPA, which is quite impressive. The faculty is experienced, and they focus on practical learning, which is essential in our field. Although some courses can be a bit overwhelming, the overall environment and opportunities for internships are better at D J Sanghvi compared to SPIT.
