Industry Interaction & Placements: The average salary offer is around 9.5 lakhs, with the highest reaching 16.5 lakhs. This suggests that the placement opportunities are quite solid.

Alumni: GIM's alumni network is strong, with graduates working in various industries and roles. This is definitely a plus for the institute.

Other Factors: GIM is AACSB accredited and has international exchange programs with institutions like the University of Antwerp in Belgium, Católica-Lisbon School in Portugal, Warsaw University of Technology Business School in Poland, and Hochschule Ingolstadt in Germany.

The campus life is vibrant with numerous clubs and events, and the hostel facilities are decent, though you have to share rooms in the first year. Overall, I feel it's a solid choice if you're looking for a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities.

Goa Institute of Management, or GIM, is a top business school in India, nestled in the picturesque state of Goa. It started back in 1993 and offers a two-year full-time MBA (PGDM) program as well as a Healthcare Management program. The campus is stunning, surrounded by mountains and nature, giving it a peaceful vibe.

The infrastructure is solid, as the college is relatively new, boasting modern architecture and facilities. Placements have been getting better every year. The curriculum is challenging, and being part of student clubs provides great learning experiences. The fees are on the higher side compared to other similar colleges.

Overall, it's a good choice among tier 2 MBA colleges, with strengths in Systems and Marketing. The library and IT infrastructure are solid, with Wi-Fi throughout. However, it could improve in the operations area. I'm not too familiar with HR to give an opinion on that. The Marketing faculty is excellent, though the brand management course could be explained better to avoid being seen as overly complex. As of 2017, its NIRF ranking was 37th.

I chose the PGDM course at GIM mainly for its comprehensive curriculum that covers multiple domains in the first year. The professors are quite approachable and encourage interaction, which makes learning enjoyable. I appreciate the 100% placement guarantee, as it gives us confidence while applying for jobs. The campus is lively with plenty of events and activities happening throughout the year. However, I do think the hostel could use more washing machines considering the number of students. Overall, I think GIM provides a good balance of academics and student life.

My time at GIM, specifically in the PGDM program, has been quite enriching. The faculty-student ratio is great, which means you get ample attention from professors who are very experienced. The curriculum is well-structured, giving you a solid foundation in various business domains before you specialize.

I've also benefited from the strong placement record; companies like Microsoft and HDFC Bank come for recruitment. The hostel life has been manageable, although the food could be better. All in all, it's a good place to kickstart your management career.
