After the MU OET results are released by the University, the counseling of the students starts for all three campuses (Manipal University Karnataka, Manipal University Jaipur, and Sikkim Institute of Technology).
During counseling, you must present the required original documents and two sets of photocopies of the same. For admission, the University would retain these documents till the completion of your course.

Both are Tier-3 colleges and students may choose based on the placement and professional prospects of the program chosen.
for B.Tech programs, Manipal MIT > LPU by a clear margin. but the comparison gets more interesting for other courses.
MIT Manipal (Manipal University main campus):
LPU (Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar):
honest assessment: for engineering — Manipal is clearly better for brand, research, and peer quality. for MBA or management, the gap narrows. for just getting a job in IT, LPU's industry-facing approach isn't bad. for pure brand value and recognition abroad (especially Middle East + Gulf), Manipal wins decisively. if fees are a major constraint, LPU gives better ROI at lower cost for software careers.
LPU's B.Tech in Civil Engineering offers solid placements with around 80% of students getting placed, and a maximum package of 15 lacs, which is great considering the rising demand in civil engineering. The internship opportunities with companies like Accenture and Tata, coupled with substantial scholarships, make it a financially smart option. In contrast, Manipal University Jaipur's B.Tech in Data Science also provides good prospects but focuses more on the tech sector, which can be competitive. The ROI at LPU seems better due to the lower fees and higher placement percentages, making it a more value-for-money choice for students looking for stability in government jobs. If you want a more secure job market with a good balance of internships and placements, LPU is the way to go; however, if you're inclined towards tech and data, then Manipal could be your pick.
Having looked into both Lovely Professional University (LPU) for B.Tech in Biotechnology and Manipal University Jaipur for B.Tech in Information Technology, I’d say LPU offers a more vibrant campus life with numerous social events and a strong focus on soft skills training, while Manipal has a reputation for solid technical education and industry connections. LPU’s curriculum is diverse, covering subjects from various disciplines, which could be beneficial for biotech students, but Manipal's IT program is likely more aligned with current tech industry demands. Personally, I would lean towards LPU for its lively atmosphere and comprehensive support for both job placements and higher studies, making it a great choice for those who value a well-rounded college experience. However, if you're more focused on a tech-centric career with strong industry ties, Manipal might be the better fit.
I know some students pursuing BCA at Manipal Jaipur. The program is quite good, and the syllabus is intensive. The crowd is decent.
But should you go for it? The answer depends on your priorities and location.
Regarding placements, I don’t have clear information about BCA placements at the Manipal Jaipur campus.
Also, think about your next steps. If placements are your concern, consider your options carefully!
It involves intense studying, I can assure you, but it's definitely worth it! Students in the BALLB program work really hard!, and The effort pays off in the long run!. So, my answer is a resounding yes! Hope this helps!
