Yes, in my opinion, LPU will prove to be a good choice for your PhD programs. I enrolled for a PhD course in 2021. As a current student at LPU, I can list down some of the things that would help you understand why LPU is worth it for a PhD course.

• LPU has one of the most versatile faculty. Their Faculty has expertise in various research areas and improves the quality and effectiveness of our research. Their guidance and mentorship is one of the most important thing for a PhD Student like myself. 
• LPU provides students with modern research facilities, labs and a good infrastructure in all disciplines such as engineering, science, technology, management and humanities. All the schools are well equipped and helped me with my PhD degree.
• As research students at LPU we can do interdisciplinary research, go for industrial collaboration and visits, take part in projects, and attend conferences, seminars, workshops and publications.
• LPU also offers financial support in terms of scholarships to support the students. 
• LPU has a good overall ranking and is one of the top 50 universities overall in India as per NIRF

I have completed my BTech in Mechanical from LPU in 2021. LPU provides both UG and PG Fashion Designing Courses in several specializations. I started doing my graduation in 2016. The BDes Fashion Design course has a comprehensive curriculum and taught me a lot of things including contemporary expertise. The LPU Fashion Designing programs also focus on using cutting-edge technologies and updates the students regarding the current market trends.

LPU has a high focus on both the theory and practical aspect of a subject. I attended several workshops, fashion shows, field visits, and industry interactions to focus on the real life industry and help in my training. I studied at the LPU School of Design and was mesmerised by the labs as well where we are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create designs and accessories.

Apart from the curriculum, infrastructure, and pedagogy, the placements at LPU for Fashion design graduates also have a great success record. After completing our graduation we could work at top design houses where our alumni have also secured job opportunities such as Anshul Rajwansh, Archana Kochhar, Aslam Khan (Delhi), Pam Mehta (Delhi), etc. In the last placements students have also been placed at top companies like H & M. The highest package also goes up to 14 LPA or more at times.

For fee structure without any scholarships, the total cost of B.Tech at LPU is INR 11.20 Lakhs. Other than the tuition fee, the students also have to pay around INR 44,000 as hostel fees. The hostel fee is calculated based on the first year/semester. If all the amount is calculated, students have to pay around a total of INR 15.60 lakhs to pursue BTech at LPU including hostel charges.

The total fee for BTech depends on the student's performance in the LPUNEST exam. The university offers heavy discounts to students with good scores that bring down the total cost by large numbers. Students with exceptional records can expect their entire tuition fee covered by the university. LPU has allocated over INR 100 crores of amount to students as scholarships.

For the 2021 graduating batch, there were about 6,000 students in b.tech cse/it only. Although there are a lot of admissions for B.Tech CSE, around 6000-8000, the university efficiently manages this with its highly qualified staff and proper division of strength into different sections. So, there is no need to worry. And for BTech courses, including all the branches, there are more than 20,000 students.
